For solving the equations it's like solving a quadratic with +ve & -ve solutions but you don't square root anything.

when modulus is on both sides instead of squaring both sides is it not possible to just make the whole of one side negative to find one value and then do both sides as positive to find the second value ? You get the same answer as squaring and it is much faster
@crazyplatypus7782 жыл бұрын
That's a property of modulus

Not to sound rude but what is the purpose for having a Modulus function? What application would this be used for, both in maths and the physical world?
@crazyplatypus7782 жыл бұрын
Just to pass the time....skip it bro
@Manananana-pq2zkАй бұрын
If u put it that way, I mean physical world there really isn’t any function that’s gonna help u LOL. Except for add,sub,multi,div functions there really is no use of it funny but ur future depends on it

3:57 How do you know y =1 and x=0 on
@mingyu12113 жыл бұрын
If you’ve done linear graphing, you’ll notice that in every equation, you can find the y-intercept, or in most equations. For example: y = 3x + 3 That ‘+ 3’ at the end of the equation is the y-intercept, right? To work out the x-intercept, we make y equal to 0, and solve the equation from there; x-intercept in y = 3x + 3 would be, 0 (make y=0) = 3x + 3 then, subtract 3 from both sides (to get rid of the ‘+ 3’ of course😁), and you’re left with -3 = 3x And finally, x = -1 So, the x-intercept in y = 3x + 3 would be (-1, 0) on the graph! In summary, this youtuber has used the x & y-intercept method to draw the linear line; (sorry for the use of slashes instead of ABS bracketsㅠㅡㅠ) y = /2x + 1/ can be solved using the methods at 3:57 like this Hopefully I was able to answer your question...
