When purchasing this chip from modzvilleusa does it already come programmed or does it need to be flashed?
@ModzvilleUSA9 ай бұрын
Yes it's programmed, You will need to add bios' to it though. It doesn't come with bios' pre installed

I got a Cerbios soft modded 1.0 and just got your chip with the PrometheOS and do i have to format the drive? Or return to stock? And how do i do return to stock if have to, i don't care about the saves or any data on the drive

Great tutorial! Is it normal for Xblast OS to boot into the Xblast OS if you have a USB device connected (i.e. Brook XB2 or flash drive) before powering on? I have an Aladdin XT Plus2 on a 1.6 and I believe the Xblast OS (ROM) is conflicting with USB devices. I have ver 0.60 flashed to the OS bank.

Thanks! My main test controller has a flash drive and I don’t believe I’ve run into that

@@ModzvilleUSA Good to know. I have been researching to see if its possible to remove Xblast OS (ROM) from the Aladdin modchip and just use the XBE version instead when needed. However I cannot flash the OS bank with a non Xblast OS bios. Can flash the 512KB and 256K banks with Cerbios, EvoX etc. Goal is to be able to leave the Brook USB device in all times and use a Series X controller without having to first boot to the startup animation then plug in the controller. This problem does not happen on my soft modded Xbox's.
@ModzvilleUSA9 ай бұрын
@@davieslm yeah you need to flash the cpld. The code is on the jafar GitHub. You can do two 512kb banks

I've been looking for something like this since I was 16 when I tsop modded my xbox back in '05 and the power blinked. I had to buy a X-BIT modchip and use that until that modchip died. This would be perfect to fix that.

Can I install this into a previously soft modded console? I bought a soft modded console off ebay and I have no idea what mod it's using.
@ModzvilleUSA9 ай бұрын
Yes but if you plan to use the same hdd you’ll need to uninstall the softmod first. Softmod uses a totally different file structure
@mattunwin9 ай бұрын
@@ModzvilleUSA okay, but now I'm unsure it's soft modded, because I already swapped drives and only used hexen to setup the new drive. Will it still work if it's been modded through a bios flash mod? There's definitely no hardware mods. Everything looks stock, it's a 1.0 too.
@ModzvilleUSA9 ай бұрын
@@mattunwin yeah It’ll work perfectly fine. Since it’s already tsop flashed you can skip the m7 portion, spit your tsop in xblast and have 4 total bios banks
