You'll dig it Herm! The base game isn't difficult to win, but the optional rules will fix that I think. I've already toyed around with a couple of ideas that I'll test out that will make it a bit more 'wargamey' in nature, but only after I've gotten enough time with the optional rules will I mess around with that.

Thanks Moe. I may get this one, but have been reluctant to purchase any White Dog games. They lock the rules pdf and vassal module if there is one to the purchase. This makes it hard to trade or sell. I just don’t have the room to keep everything and like to rotate games in and out.

All you need to do is contact White Dog and ask for the Vassal and let them know you have bought the game and they'll send you a download link. I've bought several of their games at conventions and haven't had any issues getting the vassal modules. They make some fun games, I'd suggest checking them out and picking this one up if you're interested.

@@MoesWargames thanks Moe, I didn’t know that. While I don’t understand the unproven fear that drives the business decision as compared to say a Compass Games, that is good to hear for White Dog. I will give it a try, but I’m not you, so they may not treat me the same way. It would be nice to hear it from them, one of the good things the Compass Games town hall accomplishes even when it goes off the rails about errata.

@@JohnPywtorak nope, I get no special treatment with the vassal modules. I just email WDG and they send me a link to download the module, so it should work pretty smoothly for you too. I am all for Vassal modules being available to everyone, just 'crippled' slightly by missing charts/tables that you can grab from your personal copy.

If you're the crafty type, PnP is definitely the way to go to save money that you can spend on more games!

Zombies baby! :) I will say though, the optional rules are really going to be necessary to make it more of a challenge and more along the tactical games we prefer. The base game is not difficult to win. Glad he has some optional rules already baked in, to save us time from house ruling.

Looks good but unfortunately White Dog do not ship to the UK, so I'll have to miss this one, maybe the PnP version at some stage

Second Change doesn't carry them? A PnP would be a good option, it wouldn't be too difficult to put together but a physical copy you could buy would obviously be best. Check with Blue Panther and see if they can ship to you.
