According to Sheryl Lee Ralph book she chooses Q in the end. I think both Hakeem and Mo was wrong. Yes Hakeem was wrong to kiss Niecy but I think Mo needed that as an excuse to get back with Q. Even if Hakeem never kissed Niecy, I think Mo would have ultimately ended up breaking Hakeem’s heart because it seem like all her feelings for Q slowly started rushing back once Q came back into town. And Moe was quick to get back together with Q and accept his proposal. I think maybe that’s what she wanted all along. Just my opinion

@@iloveslug Q was toxic, he possibly loved Moe but was very selfish in their relationship. He only worried about looking cool and doing what he wanted, and whenever they had issues instead of talking it out (this was Moesha’s problem too) he would leave and expect her to change herself while he can remain the same. Also they way he viewed Moesha seemed to me to be more sexual as in she looks good, but not as a I want to be with her. I mean by this point (the scene here) he did seem to want something serious with Moesha but he later sold her ring without considering how she would feel about it. Hakeem was kinder, and even when they were friends and afterwards he was sweet to Moesha. The kiss that he and Niecey shared was stupid as I feel irl he would’ve never allowed that to happen; unless he and Moesha was fighting and he felt they were gonna break up.

The fact is Moesha never knew what she wanted when Hakeem tried to get her to be serious towards the end of the show she was still on the offense about it, but cared for him so much when he got beat up in the hospital? Hakeem was a good dude the writers should have given him another girl. And Moesha either should have worked things out with Q or got another guy.
