Even if Mo isn’t the fastest to ever be, he certainly has the most impressive wins. And not only that, but the fact that he takes time to make videos like this, talk to younger runners, and share his joy for the sport rather than “grind in silence” is really good for helping it grow. It’s great to see him going back to Somalia and motivating his countrymen to run. Abdi Bile won the 1500 in 1987 World Championships. He was from Somalia.

Very cool to see Mo get back to his roots and train in Somalia, as supposed to Kenya or Oregon. You can see how huge his improvement has been. He seems a lot more in-tune with himself and his running. Sometimes it’s best to get back to your roots.
