Not really. I am f2p but i have well invested characters. I cleared the event at fearless difficulty in 2-3 tries. I am not saying it's easy but it is not extremely difficult either.

I got all gold 2 stars and that's it. I don't care if the rewards aren't worth my time. This is what I like in Genshin, your main reward is primo so just play the easiest to get. Not lock behind the hardest (which it was back then if I remember correctly).

The highest level was the "Whale challenge" and honestly, even though I'm not a whale, I love that they did it. It's a gratifying event, and very interesting. I hope to see more of it in the future. Also looking forward to the tower in 5.4.

The centaur was a breeze for me with Noelle+Furina. With Noelle's large AoE you can hit one or two pillars AND the boss with every attack

The only one I was able to fully beat was the Tulpa with an Arlecchino burgeon team. Arlecchino: lvl 80 C0, R1 lvl 90 staff of homa, 4pc gladiator Zhongli: lvl 90 C0, R1 lvl 80 staff of homa, 4PC gladiator Emilie: lvl 80 C0, her signature R1, 4pc golden troupe Bennet: lvl 80 C6, R1 skyward, 4pc noblesse

Definetely one of the best events. It was super hard, but after hours of retries, i got all of them to plat, wven wothout 5 star cons and signature weapons (with food buffs though)

This is very good event to compare with friends scores if they don't forgot to set it public. Among my all 72 friends only 4 showed scores. Quite concerning that more and more of them leave spiral abyss on 18 or 27 stars. Hoyo made it hard and even I play honkai star again. Genshin only for artifacts and some events for now until new map drops

3:19 A spread/hyperbloom team works really well here bc you can position Oz to take down the mini tulpas and the electro charge spreads it to the other ones and can chip down their shields without having to shift your focus away from the main tulpa. I used Alhaitham/Fischil/Nahida/Kuki and it worked very well.

@@MrSquishy0 the crab can actually be brute-forced using adeptus tempation+potions. just get a strong shielder and hit face. cleared mine using Keqing Aggrav & Wriothesley Freeze.

Did the first one fairly easily, second one is impossible for me because, i dont have zhongli or other geo units built and not enough dps to one rotate him, tulpa was the hardest for me took 4 days and around 3/4 hours of retrying to beat him ( was getting one shotted or messing up rotation ), and final boss is also almost impossible for me because i have characters break the shield ( yelan, kazuha furina, xilonen was the best i could do )but they didn't have enough dps to beat it. In conclusion this was a fun event even though i could only complete two of the four on the highest difficulty as a f2p and not a very old player. I will be waiting for it's return.

even as a whale had problems. Couldn't complete the crab because don't have neuvi (don't like his gameplay) and had lots and lots of problems with centaur, so small dmg window. Pretty fun and do thank this extra level with no rewards just to use high constellation characters 😊

Good thing they don't give us namecards anymore (well excluding this upcoming v5.4) so we can just focus on the primos and just ignore the other difficulties... unlike back then, I still remember the Hypo-steroids event last v1.2 even though the primos part are the easiest but for the namecard one we still have to increase our score to get it... Also add the fact that most players are still beginner back on that time (still no good artifacts) then it's really hard to get it
