Hi Deb!!! Lovely to see all the goodies you’re planning this year!! Where about in NE Scotland are you? I was born in Aberdeen my mum still lives in Elgin but I’ve been living in Boston now for the past 10 years. Still too cold here for planting but I’ve started some seeds in my indoor tent already!! Planning a trip back home in June so let’s pray for some sun!!! Love your vids- keep them coming babes ❤️❤️❤️

Aw, I'm in Aberdeen! Wow Boston must be a big change?? What took you there?? I thought moving from Shetland was far enough 😂 Oh I really hope we get a good spring and summer this year, although I've already bought some extra heat mats to get my seeds started! 😀

I’m hanging on for a while before I clear up the garden, but I’ve started in the veg plot. Got a huge pile of horse compost to put on my beds, but it’s slow going coz my back isn’t great just now 🙄 not sowing as many seeds this year…..I’m hitting Dobbies too! 😂 Stay warm Deborah 🥶 x

Aw Lynn, hope your back is feeling better now, people don't realise how debilitating it can be until it happens to them. I've had a few issues over the years, which I mainly blame on my my bad posture from hairdressing and maybe back-packing from many moons ago! 😂 Plus the dreaded tennis elbow, and not from playing tennis! This getting older doesn't come by itself! 😀😄 I thought adulting would be more fun 😂😂

I’ve got big plans this year! Hoping to grow more than one shrivelled tomato, but the snow has slowed down all my plans 🤦🏼‍♀️. Discovered 3 strawberry seedlings in my small greenhouse that grew over the winter, if they survive this snow/frost, I might even manage a strawberry or 2!

oh! That sounds exciting! What have you got planned? I know what you mean with the weather, the flower circles of iris's I planted in my lawn last autumn where just starting to appear when the snow started falling, they survived, but I missed the best of them, the tulips are appearing now, so I have everything crossed they get better weather. Oh I wish you all the best with your strawberries! Here's to a great growing season! 😀

@@Moggybox sorry for delay! I have very grand plans that will probably come to nothing lol I need to do about half a dozen raise beds from dismantled pallets (my dog will eat/pee on/💩on anything ground level. Hoping some potatoes, maybe a couple of heritage type tomato plants in the mini plastic tomato house, might get some fruit…maybe. Strawberries, and hopefully maybe a courgette plant (assuming I get to the fruit before next doors cat does 😡), some lettuce, rocket, spinach in a bed. Might go wild, and if I have space, see if I can get a cauliflower or cabbage or two to grow??? Honestly, if I get more than a couple of mini strawberries and a single tiny tomato this year, I’ll be ecstatic lol I even got some corn that I might set up a 3 sisters bed in the brightest bit of the garden just for laughs. See what happens. Plus the usual flowers, not that many survive the wind…or the dog nibbling 🤦🏼‍♀️. My baby fruit bushes are showing signs of life- might have some blueberries, raspberries, this year? Will def have gooseberries and my blackberry bush is hoff kin to a weed, so I’ll get some fruit off of it this year. My wee rhubarb crown has come away as well, got it late last year so it didn’t have a long growing season, thought I’d killed it off, but it’s come back. Will probably wait till next year to harvest though.

AH thanks for sharing! Have you tried it? and how did you get on and how much did you use? It would be amazing to find something that works and save me from replacing all the soil 😀

@Moggyboxcraft I haven't tried it personally I was looking into it when I had mu allotment it was all clay, but loads of info online . You fork it through your soil as if you were adding new compost , the most common suggestion on amount it approx 70g -75g per square metre . Hope it helps x
