I would like to note that all the copper blocks are easily craftable with regular copper (even the bulbs, which use blaze rods), so they are also still craftable in superflat even if you don't have any Trial Chambers.

There are Amethyst Geodes in the overworld preset but you’ll be surprised, They Generate up high in the Air Exposed!

Ominous chambers are like 100% harder on bedrock, and I have the worst luck. I have opened 143 ominous vaults exactly and I still haven't gotten even a heavy core yet. Before anyone says anything, no I'm not getting a pc just to play a different version of the same block game.

according to the minecraft wiki, the loot table doesn't have amethyst shards. you can only get: emeralds, arrows, iron-ingots, trial keys, diamonds, blocks of emerald, blocks of diamond or The Creator (Music Box) Music Disc

seeing Mog react to things they previously weren't able to obtain in superflat makes me unreasonably happy. People who play on normal generation are just normalized to things because they have access to everything. It really harkens back to when we first played Minecraft. The joy and fantasy we all experienced exploring a new world really fizzles out the more you play. it reminds me of one of my earliest memories playing Minecraft. It was with my brother. The textures were gross, there was the old villages, cats and ocelots were still the same thing, and we were spawning in blazes in creative mode to destroy a preloaded castle map. I was having so much fun scrolling through all the items in the creative menu and pulling something random out to see what it was or what it did. Thank you Mog for making me feel that curiosity again through your joy playing Minecraft.

The empty chests are intentional, they're meant to help with inventory management. You're supposed to dump loot and other random blocks in them for safe keeping while you complete the trials.

I really hope the next update is themed more on a certain thing. I feel like the last few updates have been not really focused on anything in particular, which is alright, but a focused update would be great in my opinion. End update? Hot biomes update? Hell, even something wild like a sky update! Although for your sake I hope that the focused update would be able to work in your world lol, otherwise it would not change much!

@@LegendisX Not really, there were autocrafters, paintings, and other things. Also, it's one structure. It's much of a smaller scale than other updates like the nether and aquatic.

@@pikmintopia if youve gone into a trial chamber and experienced it yourself, its a big update, especially compared to some of the older updates. i think updates should be judged based on not just the biggest updates, but the smaller ones as well, such as 1.9 and 1.12. if mojang commits to only doing massive updates, then eventually the game wont feel the same. and in response to your other reply to darius, their ambitions for 1.17 were incredibly big, so it makes sense that they split it into separate updates. also, trial chambers were never planned to be part of 1.17

Mogswamps the only minecraft youtuber i don't ger bored of. Seeing I DID CRAZY HARD THING IN MY HARDCORE WORLD gets old after awhile. Hardcore feels so bland for content since it's still normal minecraft you just can't die, but in those vids the "can't die" thing feels nonexistent cause once they get past the enderdragon it feels like that risk vanishes. But these feel different because the challange NEVER goes away. It feels like superlfat all throughout which makes you shocked when it doesn't look like superflat. I love these.
