This is the main difference between these two mini amps. The Nobsound is running on the TPA3116 chipset and MOGU on TPA3221.
The MOGU TPA3221 should produce a little bit better sound quality, lower heat emitting, can easily drive 3" to 10" speakers from 4 - 6 Ohm.
Ideal on around 120W speaker power driver.
But the Nobsound TPA3116 produces much more output power and bass.
So.. what suits better for you?

Hi ALS I definitely agree with you, the Nobsound NS-20G is the more powerful amplifier and, by default, has the better sound. However, the heat produced by the NS-20G could be a problem but is dependent on how you use it. For example, my music system consist of five (5) mini-amps and so I have never had to turn any of my amps volumes up too high, i.e beyond #12 on the NS-20Gs and about 11 o'clock on my NS-01Gs, and so heat has never been a problem for me. Even though on average I play my system 2 - 3 hours, every other day, and last weekend I played music for 6 - 7 hours. So heat generation is down to usage and system configuration. You maybe interested to know that I now use the Behringer AMP800 Headphone amplifier to connect four of my five amps together and by next weekend I plan to incorporate the Behringer FBQ800 equalizer into my system. At this stage, I don't know whether the FBQ800 will add more enjoyment to my system or be a total wash-out but part of the fun is finding out. Until your next amplifier review regards Bob

I'm very curious as to how extacly you made your set up like that and why! I have one big amp with 5 speakers to cover 2 opposite rooms, while I have one mini amp with two speakers to cover my study desk. I'd really like to know what the pros and cons of 5 mini amps are. Thanks in advance~!

@@mjbartending Hi MJ TBH, I can only answer one of your questions and maybe speculate on the rest. You asked "How exactly you made your set up like that and why?" Well, I started off by wanting to stream my digital music from my NAS to my TV. I soon grew tired of listening to music through TV speakers and so started to experiment by connecting an optical cable from my TV, via a DAC, to a Nobsound NS01G mini-amp and a set of bluetooth speakers. I soon found out that I could connect a second mini-amp to the DAC, so I did just that along with a second set of speakers. Curiosity (and Covid related cabin fever) got the better of me and so I ended up by buying additional mini-amps, ending up with 3 x NS01G, 2 x NS20G and 1 x Q100 along with variety of speakers including a subwoofer. I then bought a Behringer AMP800 headphone amplifier, which I use to distribute music to 2 x NS20G & 2 x NS01G, the third NS01G is fed directly from the DAC. Then came my Behringer FBQ800 graphic equalizer, an excellent partner to the AMP800, which directly connects to my Nobsound Q100 mini-bass amp, which in turn controls my subwoofer. In order for all this to work, I stream music from my NAS to the Chromecast device, attached to my TV, which then goes through to my DAC onto the FBQ800, to the AMP800 and onwards to 4 of my 6 mini-amps. As mentioned before, one of my NS01Gs is fed directly from my DAC and FBQ800 directly feeds the Q100 bass amp. I can't really answer your "pros and cons" question but I can say that I did not plan such a system, it was borne out of having cabin fever (Covid isolation) and curiosity, i.e. to see how far I could go with this mini in-home project and my wanting to play my music on the best system possible without making myself bankrupt in the process. The downside of all this is that I've had buy equipment "as and when" and discard (give away) about six sets of speakers that either did not work with or did not sound right in my system, which BTW took 2+ years of experimentation, and refining my own musical taste buds, to get the sound to match what I wanted to hear. After saying all that, the next system I plan to buy, for my bedroom, will be a more traditional stereo set up with one amp and either 2 or 4 speakers. Please note, I have not accurately depicted the chronological order of my equipment purchases nor have I included the types and variety of connecting cables I have used to make everything work together. If you have any further queries..........

@@boblaws7582 thanks a lot for the detailed reply. The whole linking of mini amps principle is new to me. Do you use all those speakers to bring music to different rooms/areas of your home? Or fill one room from multiple angles and/or sources Funny that you mention it started with tv music and chromecasting. This was my last addition to my set up, the chromecast that is. In order to link it to my main amp, I connect its 3,5mm headphone out to my mixer, which then goes to my subwoofer on the booth out, and independently to the big amp on the amp out. I too have built my system over the span of multiple years and given away speaker sets in the mean time when my set up evolved. My denon amp, mixer and record player have been with me for 16 years now. I wish I could put a dac between my nobsound and pc, but the nobsound cannot turn the dac's output into stereo for some reason when I use its 3,5mm aux in, while my mixer/big amp can. So I have to use bluetooth for that.

@@mjbartending Hi MJ, Maybe I can deal with your last query first, i.e. connecting a DAC to your Nobsound mini-amp. 5 out of my 6 Nobsound mini-amps are not connected to my DAC but directly to my Behringer FBQ800 and AMP500 amps. So I am guessing that you will need an intermediary device between your DAC and your mini-amps. I only managed to connect my DAC to one of my mini-amps because the DAC has a headphone port, and so I used this as an output to one of my NS01G amps. As for my speakers, of which I have 8 small ones of various sizes + a subwoofer, are all in one room, you see, I am somewhat old fashioned in the way I listen to music, i.e. it's got to be stereo only, not multi-rooms, surround sound or anything else. Therefore, my speakers are arranged, in my living room, in front of me. The benefits of this is that I get the best sound from each speaker while the weaknesses are pushed into the background. For example, some speakers have good treble, others have brilliant midrange and vocals, while my subwoofer takes care of bass. And so the blending of my speakers multi-sound is (just) delicious and very emotional to listen to. And just like you, I had experimented with various speakers and other (non-Nobsound) mini-amps but eventually found that my 6 Nobsound mini-amps and the variety of speakers I now have has given me the clear vocals (both in the fore and background), smooth detailed midrange and deep bass I now have. You know, Hi-Fi snobs would look down on my system and say it's not real because it doesn't cost a fortune, it doesn't look right or tick any of the prerequisite boxes but, for me, the sound is thoroughly enjoyable, conveys emotion and has lovely deep bass. Yeah, I just love it. Regards Bob

I think if you had 14 gauge instead of regular speaker wire the performance would've been different. And the power bank voltage may be the standard model. I have one believe me, they go hard. And I'm upgrading my power bank.

Setelah melihat tutorial video ini jadi mau beli. Tapi bingung, mau beli yang mana? Mogu, suaranya kurang kenceng. Sedangkan NS2 cepet panas!
