Really digging these sort of music by mogwai especially coming back to mogwai and discovering slow dive. The moodiness and solumn 90s rock is amazing

Rise crystal spear flied through over me Suddenly gone from here, left alone on the road What brings you back? Promises of a memory Your own ghost running away with the past Disappear in the sun All gone, all gone It took a while just to think Of home, of home My oldest friend that I barely knew So much fun hanging around in the dark You stop time, managed to somehow find a way Out of here, dagger in everyone's heart Disappear in the sun All gone, all gone It took a while just to think Of home, of home Disappear in the sun All gone, all gone It took a while just to think Of home, of home

Until I looked up the actual lyrics, I swear I'd been hearing "My oldest friend that I buried" and "disappear in the sound". English isn't my native, but still. Amazing song.

I don't understand why anyone would bother hitting the dislike button on any new track by a band like Mogwai considering the amount of music they've created over all these years. Just....don't.

Vaya grupazo! Hasta la polla del COVID y toda esta situación! Brutal!
After a treatment by Google translate I could not decide if this was a critique or praise! :) I can say I have not listened to my Tortoise albums for years, but always come back to Mogwai! "The rock-like post-rock (not Tortoise-like post-rock) invented by Mogwai has evolved to some extent by fusing with various genres like other genres, and the head family Mogwai is doing his best. However, as long as listeners seek the royal road of roaring from stillness, essential evolution is difficult. This song is an indie rock-like post-rock that Mogwai has released so far, but even if you do not think about the above, it is undeniable that it sounds old as 2021 music. It may be wrong in modern times to ask for evolution in Mogwai-like post-rock, but I feel hope that the original Mogwai will do something."
