I've done my BCA and recently joined a company. One thing I noticed is the difference in treating a Btech and a BCA student. We get paid less for the same work and the salary difference is huge even if we have more technical knowledge then them. Many Companies don't even have openings for BCA and only for Btech. So it's better to do btech if you're from science.

I completely disagree! Having the right knowledge is what matters most to interviewers, not education. I've been on both sides of the table in numerous interviews, and I can confidently say that a candidate's knowledge and presentation skills are what ultimately make the difference.
