This is how a recruiter should be a “Recruiter”. Intellect, full of positivity and more importantly positive towards each and every candidate who is applying for a job. Such kind of positive attitude towards candidate make them happy even if they not being selected. Coz someday every candidate will get job somewhere. On the other hand there are recruiters exist who doesn’t even bothered to speak politely or with hope with the candidate like the one who came on podcast on Suneja sir KZbin channel. She was totally crap 🤮and demotivating personality 😡in general. No doubt Suneja sir also doing great on channel but in my view, having podcast with her was a mistake. Anyway!! She actually does expose the kind of issues with hiring, which might explain some of the struggle people have. -> At large companies, we aren't allowed to have bias about other large company names on the resume. So having Google, Samsung, Nvidia internships have no inherent value, afterall it is "internship" and not real work experience, so even with 1.5 Years of internships, I am fresher. -> If you're in TCS or Accenture, sorry, Product-Based companies only hire from other Product-based companies, do hackathons, etc. So even if I am a rockstar with big achievements, I might be looked over.

So are there are very less chances for tier 2 and 3 college students? I am from MAIT Delhi. Top 10 colleges in Delhi(from btech acc to Vedantu jee and college pravesh) this year many product based companies de shaw and many more came for on campus placement. Cutoff is like 96 to 97 for cse. I rejected nit silkim and iiit Manipur bcoz they don’t have like any good location and not sure about placements and internship opportunities in these locations. But just bcoz they have iiit and nit in front of their name and beat any good college student where cutoff closes at much lower rank(more competitive and tough admission) but still will we face bias due the name nit and iiit? What do you mean. By top premiere institutes like old and reputed iit and nit or newly opened nit at remote locations and iiit opening without permanent campus. If you want to give bias then plz companies do consider only relevant and old institutes. Not many nit and iiit opening and closing at very higher ranks. Ever heard of iiit Bhagalpur ? Manipur ? Why should we go at remote locations just for the tag of nit ?
