I am about to take admission in bsc cs from DU and I was checking eligibility criteria for nimcet earlier which mentioned that I should have maths/stat as one of the subject in graduation. I checked the syllabus for bsc cs in DU and discrete structure is mentioned in semester 2 which is basically maths I think. Will I be eligible for nimcet if I only have discrete structure in one semester ?

I recently completed my bsc and am luckily doing mca but also working in a startup because of my coding skills but i got into it through reference...so if u have references u will get land a job with good coding skills and a good resume..but if u don't have any references still u wanna get a job in particularly product base..U gotta make them notice u as a candidate through hackathons and coding competitions... So understand which lvl of coding u need for product based company after bsc and that too is believe me hard to do...or u guys can opt courses of dsa with placements at the end might help because they have tie ups....other than that landing a software job after bsc is not possible..u gotta be in top 1% of ppl (coders)... service based companies me toh bsc guys won't even get chance for appearing the exam.

Bhai lage raho bas DSA ko chorna mat, agr DSA strong hai skills achi hai tohh most of the MNCs degree nhi dekhti. Yeh same case mere cousin k sath ho chuka hai. Uss bande ka skill bht acha tha, interview mai usse pucha gya ki tum kya pdhayi kiye ho toh woh kehta hai 'engineering'. Toh interviewer ko lga ki BTech kiya hoga fr usko BTech ka level ka salary mil gya 10lpa. Par asal mai usne Dip. in CS kiya tha. Aur abhi uska 2 saal se jyda hogya hai. :)) So chill.
