My question is why only girls, like zero coding to Data Analyst, Tier 3 to Microsoft etc etc, does boys even exist with this kind fascinating stories? I work in a company that I don’t want to name, there is girl who can’t even write a selection statement properly got appraisal. I have often seen companies preferring dumbs (Please don’t mind) with no qualities or candidates who don’t even have basic knowledge over some talented guy who can contribute more to the company with just little polishing.I am not gender discriminating but there are talented girls indeed but maybe I have not seen such yet. I don’t understand what logic and secret is behind this, that girls get free preferences over anything. It’s not about jealousy or envy, but I have tons of examples of talented candidates who deserves to get a good job as freshers, but they couldn’t. P.S (My intention is not to insult anyone).

its a quota in companies where they have to hire girls , even in my company , sometimes we are forced to take girls in team , for diversity purposes , even though they are other good matches . i mean its good in some way , but may be its more bad for the deserving ones

I am a recruiter and I have worked on Data analyst requirement for one of our clients Vacancy is for 0-2 yrs, but they were preferring candidates with atleast 1.5 yrs And majorly for R1 they check the communication like how well you are describing the project and your tech stack. Even before R1 , HR rejected many candidates with poor comm skills & those whose Resume not apt with JD. I don't like it when HR rejects candidates only by seeing their resume. Atleast they should talk with them😞😞

sorry to tell the truth of market of india but as of now no company hires freshers as a data analyst even with skills . these are just fancy things but there is a tough world beyond it that maximum will not tell ,.... and even if they hire they give very very low salary like inhand 10 to 15k thats too low to survive and salary doesnt increase after that as well... a basic coding job of tcs as a fresher can earn a min of 22k at starting

Just work on your basic, pick any language and once you feel comfortable with basic problems like reversing a string, factorial, prime numbers etc. Start leetcode from easy to medium. You still have much time left focus on these skills you'll do much better than many Btech grads
