Rafi Sahab possesed divine voice blessed by Ma Sarswati and Lord Krishna, a towering personality beyond measure, in fact he was emmisary of Almighty, very humble and down to earth person for which every Indian is proud of and must emulate his personalty traits. He is immortal and presently he is closeted with Almighty in fact, we believe, a thoroughly selfless person, nice clean heart fellow. He sung about 26000 songs in every Indian language, he was innocent fellow and never ran after money like contemporary singers except Mukesh Ji. Space will fell short if one writes about Rafi Sahab, he was real gem and voice of Universe, he must be conferred upon Bharat Ratna award by Modi Govt. Can’t tell you how much I adore Rafi saheb’s voices and every song. I used to play his songs on KZbin 10-12 hours a day. Very sad that he passed away at such young age. I saw Shahid sahab at one of the Rafi saheb’s birthday celebrations in Mumbai and Sajid Bhai sang 2-3 songs of his father. It was immense pleasure to see him look just like his father- it was such a sukun to me like I was seeing Mohammad Rafi saheb’s alive. No singer can replace Mohammad Rafi sahebji. May Allah give him highest place in jannah.

Every weddings were recorded in high quality on vcr tapes, so where were these people when Rafi Sahab was giving concerts? Even in this video its same dozen snapshots repeated everywhere. Having high flying children living in USA UK it wasn't a question of not aware of technology or shortage of money. So unlike most families why are there only a handful snapshot and audience recorded fuzzy clips. Rafi Sahab (regardless of Bharat Ratna or no of awards given) is a national (international) institution. He now belongs to the nation
