This, like all the other challenge fights you post, is amazing. It's also extremely useful for anyone who wants to better learn spacing and positioning, and incorporate standards other than rolling to dodge attacks. Some of these videos have been extremely helpful to me in my own challenge run. Thank you!

I love this shit so much, I love the bosses in elden ring having movesets that are not only punishable through strafing and jumping (but not like in ds2 where strafing worked because the boss movesets sucked ass), but sometimes ONLY punishable mid combo by incorporating more than just rolling. I was already incorporating strafing for his "catch bloodflame" attack, but from this I learned that if you stand still when he does his flying lunge at the right distance you get a guaranteed punish, and that even his neutral "r1s" that are really wide can be strafed. Thanks for this great video :)

Thanks for the kind words! Strafing works really well for a lot of bosses in Elden Ring, a good way to get a few extra hits in over the course of the fight.

Great! Fists are always the best solution! I have serious problems with positioning in this fight, since happen to step on the blood pools in P2. How do you manage them?
@mouseinatutu9 ай бұрын
Just gotta learn where they go, they're consistent unless on the stairs. His sideways walk is also influenced by your positioning, so use that to your advantage

Could you tell me what is the problem with lies of p ? I noticed you were saying there are random attacks or something , are not the parry and block mechanics suitable for the boss moves ? I noticed some people dodge without rolling like in souls

Thanks, I can tell you it was not a very enjoyable experience. Actually got it twice, but the first one had horrendous RNG and was over 7 minutes long. Thankfully didn't take too long to get a 2nd after that.
