I dont know why he is so underrated, in my opinion no other teacher on youtube teaches as much as deep he teach. And even my coaching institute teachers also dont teach this much deep . luv u sir

Sir we derive dG=vdp-sdt by concidering no non pv work but....electrical work is non pv work...so how can we apply (dg/dt)p= -S in electrochemistry while finding out the thermodynamic parameters??? Plz reply sir

sir, is the formula dG = VdP - SdT only applicable for a reversible process? because in google it is showing that it is applicable for both rev and irreversible process

Change In state function Is a definite quantity which doesn't depend on from which process you get there . Don't need to check on Google, focus on lecture better

Sir, previously we noted that at constant T and P, ∆G is non mechanical or useful work obtained from system. Then in this case where non-mechanical work is zero, meaning dG=VdP-TdS, what is the physical significance of ∆G? Also in gaseous system, will non-PV work be always zero
@Deathboy-ux2qc
@Deathboy-ux2qc 2 жыл бұрын
we only consider ideal cases for solving problems and derivations .. so in last class we had taken P and T constant so the physica significance was non PV work here we considered non PV work = 0 and P and T vary so physical significance is with respect to P dV - S dT and also non PV work wont always be zero for gases as they can also conduct non PV work when possible
@Deathboy-ux2qc
@Deathboy-ux2qc 2 жыл бұрын
if no info is given about non PV work we MUST assume it is zero
