I myself struggled in Mumbai before moving to USA to study BFA in film making. The producers or executives of Bollywood don't meet newcomers or don't even give appointment for years n even if u meet them through a big contact they only select people from their friend circle's kids.South Indian cinema has the practice of Hollywood where they instantly select a good talent in direction, editing,music n screenwriting. Tell me who r d new music composers of Bollywood,n aren't the songs of Pritam mostly copies of South Korean songs n other countries. Do u think there r no new talents in music n screenwriting in Hindi belt. There r thousands but Bollywood don't give break to new talents unless they have big contacts or from their known contacts n that's d reason why even Shahrukh Khan had to take Atlee as a director coz Bollywood has no new great directors or screenwriters or music composers coz THEY DIDNT ALLOW THEM TO RISE AND DIDN'T GIVE THEM BREAK.
