US Citizens can use Fidelity but I don't know about other countries unfortunately.

Earthquake is a terrible event. TAV is now down a lot, I'll increase my position once markets reopen. It won't have much meaningful affect on TAV in my opinion. @@lunchinvesting What kind of bug me with Turkey is I'm not really good with marco and goverment problems ect. So what come to mind is what would happen at some point to fix inflation. If they don't want to accept any other currency is the only solution super high rates and if that happen that could lead to civil war or who knows what? I would like to hear your thoughts?

Honestly macro situations go in the too hard pile for me. I look for companies that you dont need excel to see upside in Turkey, businesses upside needs to be that obvious. Like Pabrai paid 20 mil for Reysaş when it could liquidate for 800 mil, I probably wont find one like that but that's the goal.

TAVHY is trading OTC and TAVHL.IS is trading on Turkish Stock Market. Since this video, the stock has appreciated ~25% on USD basis by the way so there is a lot of premium to what Mohnish has paid. Thank you for your comment 😀

Hello again. Could I ask you: on the Turkish exchange the stock today is 80 Turkish lira whereas on the US OTC it’s 16 $. With the currency exchange there is a significant difference. Why ?

@@Nik-up5kg hi, I honestly dont know, but for example $BABAF is OTC of Alibaba and its at 10$ whereas $BABA is at 80. 1 OTC might mean more regular stock, In TAV's case it looks like 1 OTC could be equal to 4 regular.

@@lunchinvesting $TAVHY is an unsponsored ADR, 1 ADR = 4 ordinary shares on the Istanbul stock exchange, after the recent pull-back from the high I find it more interesting. Yet, it's still around +25% of what Mohnish paid last year. Eventhough, he thinks the stock will x2/3 withing 3 years, so there's still some upside for us small guys. Big IF all the thesis plays out :) I entered with a small 3% allocation for my personal portfolio.
