Pabrai: Don't invest in Chinese companies because they only have three books: 1) CCP, 2) Owner's wife, 3) Owner's mistress. Got it

Are you still invested in care rating agency, suntech realty and rain industries? Sunteck reality is after all managed by first generation entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, I have strongly advised my friends to invest in 4th generation entrepreneurs mainly in Bajaj group companies or Britannia Industries or Tata group like TCS for last 10 years.

Warren has taught all to think investing dont need much IQ it needs patience which is incorrect. Investing need lot of intelligence, common sense and wisdom, because business valuation needs these skill sets and if you knew why you took a particular decision than you will be happily be patient.
@fredericp643 жыл бұрын
He said it did not require a very high IQ. Not that a patient dummy would succeed lol
@ravinarayan52733 жыл бұрын
Warren says patience is a fundamental attitude that investors cannot keep up with. They pick the correct stock and sell once the price is going down panicking. Alternatively sell seizing profits in short run.

Considering the technological revolution im not sure how value investors differentiate. Most old companies will become a value trap if they haven't adapted.

This guy is very rude. I do not know about his investment record in USA. But in India if person would have shorted all the stocks that he has owned would have made huge amount of money.

The thing is that he manages a fund that beats the market, and you don't.
