Hello guys, For them who are asking that how much does it cost to import a car to india from dubai. I am assuming you're very rich if you plan to import cars to India. (100 cr+ rich net worth). But this answer isn't about how to import per se but why it isn't such a good idea. Price: There is a 200%- 300% tax you pay on a vehicle in order to import it. So you're actually buying a car for the price of 2-3 cars of that same model. Spare parts: Automobile makers make money on this, not on the car itself. Imagine purchasing spare parts every time coupled with duty and taxes from another country. Not to mention the time it will take to arrive. So it will be EXPENSIVE! Time: I'm talking about the time your vehicle will be unavailable in case it breaks down. Since its going to take time for the spare parts to arrive, you're vehicle will be doing nothing more than adorning your garage.
