We must deny Self, Matt 10:38,39; and die to Self the old man has to be crucified, the book of Roman's is the 6th book in the NT, chapter 6, and verse 6=666, the old man has to be crucified, so the born again, spiritual man, born from above. And now ye know what withholdeth ( restraineth means to hold back ) that he ( the son of perdition ) might be revealed in his time ( let's go back to verse 3 and will see when the son of perdition will be revealed at the falling away first ).7. For the mystery of iniquity ( lawlessness ) doth already work ( it was already working in Paul's day ): only he ( the Holy Ghost ) who now letteth will let, until he ( the son of perdition ) be taken out of the way, or come out of the midst ( it's a corporate body of son of perdition in the temple of Christ spiritualy speaking, just as Judas iscariot was, the disciples didn't have a clue it was Judas iscariot until he betrayed Jesus Christ with a kiss, when he dip the Sop into the dish satan entered him, and history is going to repeat itself again, the sons of perdition are going to betray the brothers to death. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness( 1Jn 2:15-29; James 4:4 )in them ( the apostate people of God )that perish; because they received not the love of the Truth, ( the real true Gospel , they were spiritually blind to truth Isa 66:4), that they might be saved.11. And for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion, ( listen now ) that they should believe a lie ( such as a pre- rapture ) : That they all might damned who believe not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." My brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus our Lord said He would send the comforter the Holy Ghost and He would be with us and in us, and lead us into all truth. If you have the love of the truth you will not be deceived by the false prophets, and many doctrines of religion and denominations out there. CHRIST IS NOT DIVIDED INTO RELIGION OR DENOMINATIONS. Those are babylonian churches. The Mother Harlot has many daughters, and she and her daughters persecuted Jesus and the apostles and handed them over to be Roman beast of that time. Rev 17:56; Rev 18:24, Matt 23; and history repeats itself again, it's going to happen to the church the body of Christ in the tribulation, if the church believes it or not. You ain't going to fly away, or be raptured up unless you die before the tribulation. Believer in what? A rapture or Jesus, the Godman, our Savior? Don't get sucked into a pre trib theory. It's convoluted and unbiblical. Search why post tribulation is true and watch some videos. Search why pre trib is true and watch some videos. Do your homework, learn and think/decide for yourself.

THE DAY OF THE LORD and the COMING OF THE LORD are the SECOND COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, NOT the time of a pretrib rapture by Jesus. What happens just prior to The DAY OF THE LORD? Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 17 For the GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH has come; and who shall be able to stand? What happens just prior to THE DAY OF THE LORD AND the TIMING of it? Matthew 24:29 “IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION OF THOSE DAYS the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. When is the GATHERING/RAPTURE? Matthew 24:30-31 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. I think that the Lord promised us persecution and he's already given me eternal life. If I have to be persecuted and killed for Jesus so be it! But I also believe in a pre-trib rapture based on the scriptures. A Lot of Americans are afraid to suffer for our LORD that's not respectable!

“We shouldn’t be dogmatic about prophecy”? Huh? 2 Peter 1:16-21 says prophecy is a MORE SURE WORD than even an eyewitness! Prophecy is revealed, not speculated or guessed.

He says, "we also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable" meaning we KNOW that biblical prophecy is reliable because of what has already been fulfilled (proving we have a God that writes history in advance) and therefore we can trust in All prophecy, both past prophecy (evidence) and future prophecies. But that is NOT the same as, "All future prophecy is revealed and obvious to any reader, so be dogmatic about it and divide over it."

Emphasis on "last trump" in the scriptures provided. The seven trumpet also known as the last trumpet is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Definitely not a pre-tribulation rapture. @@Pre-Tribulation The Holy Ghost is our seal and we would be protect from the plagues that the Lord sends upon the world. Like the locust for an example. When Israel was being delivered from Egypt the Lord took all the firstborn who didn't have the blood of the lamb applied to their door post. Jesus is the Lamb of God that is applied to our temple by the blood(Christ dying on the cross), water(baptism in Jesus name), and the Spirit( filled with the Holy Ghost and tongues is the sign for this). These three things are our redeeming power. We are fighting a spiritual battle like never before and the Devil is like a roaring Lion trying to devour as many as he can. We aren't appointed to the Lord's wrath. We would already be with Him in the air during His second coming. But we have to endure all the way to the end while the devil is throwing out his wrath at the same time before the Lord's second coming. Many people will think they have missed the rapture because so many people think it's a pre-tribulation rapture then you will see the falling away as the scriptures says. Because they will be deceived. The Lord commands us to watch and pray and gave us the signs that lead to His second coming. Let us prepare ourselves by praying in the Holy Spirit building up our most Holy Faith. In Jesus name. Amen.

The key to when the rapture takes place is this verse. Revelation 10:7 ESV but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets. But God has to make known to you the details concerning the mystery of God. The book of revelation hadnt been written yet, so of course they wouldnt have been looking for the 144,000 sealed jews, or the other prophetic things wtitten in it. St. John was in his 90's when he wrote it. By then the other disciples / apostles had already suffered and been killed for their faith. Of course i agree none of us should be dogmatic about these issues. i am unable to find a single piece of scripture that says the rapture or catching away of still living christians upon Christs return. In contrast there are many that tell us it will be after the tribulation, some says at the last trumpet sounds. up to this point the tribulation period has been economic calapse, natural disasters, famine, pestilence, etc....which we will experience if alive. after the last trump, god himself pours out his wrath upon the earth from 7 vials, this we will have Gods Devine protection from, and THEN jesus splits the sky and returns as King of Kings!!! See the book of Matthew ch. 24. Jesus says from his own mouth his return will be AFTER the tribulation. Scripture tells us the same thing in Mark and Luke. in 1st Thessalonians ch 4 Paul describes the glorious event, but does not say WHEN it will take place. Paul writes about this same event in 1st Corinthians ch. 15 verses 49-55 in verse 52 he says when it will take place, AT THE LAST TRUMP. Why does this matter? well you will notice in Matthew 24 as Jesus begins to answer the disciples question about when will the end be and the sign of his coming, Jesus begins with "Be not deceived" in other words, listen to me this is how its going to be dont let anyone trick you!! this places extra importance on the message. how sad it would be for all the evil and rough times of the tribulation to start and take place, and then some begin to depart from the faith because Jesus didnt come remove them before it happened. What would make the end times christians special to remove them from suffering after so many hundreds of thousands have suffered and been killed for the cause of Christ to this point? Rather than being removed prior to the tribulation, according to scripture i submit we will by faith in Christ endure it until the last trump and his return in which he will raise the dead in Christ first (this is the first resurrection) and then he will also transfigure us who are still alive and remain into our glorified bodies to meet them in the air, only to follow the Lord back down to earth for the thousand year reign of Christ on earth.......etc....

I still see two different events, the snatching away, the escape of the Bride for wise virgins wicks trimmed oil lamps full entered the wedding supper of the lamb, the foolish virgins had not enough oil, missed the bridegroom, were shut out and left behind V's the 2nd coming of Christ at Armageddon with His saints. The Wedding supper has already taken place. We know the escape of the Bride provokes the Jews to jealously. This is what it takes for the Jews to awaken out of slumber for their blinding was because of their rejection of our only Messiah Jesus Christ. We know Jacobs trouble is for the Jews, also for those left behind whom will have to endure the trumpets, bowls, woes ... We also know the luke warm are spewed out of the mouth of God (rejected, not found worthy) pray ye therefore daily ye are counted worthy to escape what is coming upon the earth (pre). Remember Jesus answered the door to the foolish virgins whom were begging to be let in and said "depart from me I know ye not." Once the restrainer is removed and the Bride escapes then this world will fall into spiritual darkness, the time of antichrist final rule and reign to deceive the nation's. The light of the world has "gone out" suggesting Jesus Christ whom is the light of the world is also the restrainer. Those not found worthy, the luke warm, the unbelieving, unrepentant, wicked and abominable shall be cast into the hour of temptation set to try the inhabitants of the earth, the REFINERS 🔥 FIRE. (Choose this day whom you will serve, you can not serve two masters not drink from both cups) 🤔 Those in tribulation who repent of unbelief and sin, those whom have awakened out of slumber and turned back to Jesus Christ are the martyred saints, they are the great multitude seen upon the sea of glass dipped in blood. The grape harvest is those crushed in the winepress of our Lord. (Great tribulation!) Here we find hope and a reason to rejoice for there are multitudes without number! If this is what it takes to draw humanity back to our creator, the lover of our souls, the author and finisher of our faith, so be it. God warns and warns and warns. Only love warns of coming judgement and wrath. For those asleep too busy with the cares of this world will be taken unaware. There is a special crown for those watching and waiting for they are wide awake and warning of the signs of these times, despite the mocking and scoffing. 3 harvests, barley, wheat, grape. Jesus returned in 70 ad,John said he was a brother and companion in tribulation, John also had to measure the temple that was standing. Temple was destroyed in 70 ad.

1 Thessalonians was written by Paul. He stated in chapter 5 that we are not appointed to wrath. This goes to show that what you call wrath is not wrath. You say getting your head chopped off is wrath. In addition to that you would say Jesus would not allow His Church to go through that. Paul was martyred for his faith. Paul and the disciples are part of His Church. Paul was decapitated and it was not by God. It was done by Antichrist spirited people not by God. What does Matthew 24:4-26 tell us about the tribulation? Verse 9, “They” not God will deliver you up to be killed. The Love of God will never grow cold but the love of many will grow cold. “They” not God will hate you for Jesus’ namesake. Verse 16 tells those who are in Judea to flee to the mountains. Fleeing isn’t because of God. It’s because of the AntiChrist. The love of God and not His wrath is seen in Matthew 24. Jesus warning us about this time is the love of God not the wrath. Jesus telling us not to be deceived is the love of God and not the wrath. His love tells us to be aware of the Antichrist. He tells us to hide and not come out in verses 23-26. Does this sound like He will pour His wrath out on His people? Jesus himself tells us in verse 29, His wrath will come after the tribulation. This is when the 6th seal is opened and the 7th seal will correspond with the 6th seal. The 6th seal begins the wrath of the Lamb then the 7th seal is when the trumpets sound and the bowls of judgement are poured out. They are not poured out in the tribulation. This will be a time when Jesus avenges the blood of His servants who’s blood is shed by the harlot and when He rescues those who remain alive; not Him pouring His wrath out on His own.

@@Pre-Tribulation Escape and rescue share the same meaning when we are being assisted to escape. Two angels assisted Lot and His family from the city. This was a rescue asked for by Abraham for God to save them.

Sorry, but John 14 does not say anything about raptured saints going to Heaven. The Lord says that we will be where He is. That does not mean we will go to Heaven as raptured saints. It is an assumption.

@@Pre-Tribulation Jesus is at the right hand of His Father in Heaven. Where will He be when He raptures the Church? He will be in the earth's atmosphere in the clouds in the air. This does not mean we will return to where He came from. That is assumed. We do know we will be with Him where He is. We will go where He goes. If He establishes His Kingdom on earth from there; there we will be. His Kingdom is where He is. His Father's house is in His Kingdom. Where He is His Father is with Him also. My brother, didn't the lord say that deliverance for the righteous, and destruction for the unrighteous will come on the same day? He said it in (Luke 17:29-30). He said the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even this shall it be in the day when the son of man is revealed. This means that the rapture and the judgment will happen on the same day. The Lord made it very clear to us so there won't be any misunderstanding. The rapture and his judgment both happen on the same day. He also said in (Mathew 24:38-39) that all of the things that were done in the days leading up to the flood/first judgment by the people will be repeated in the days leading up to the coming/second judgment by the people. He also made that clear to us as well. So the question is, where can those days be placed, before, or after the tribulation? To know if those days can be placed before or after the tribulation all we need to do is hear what the Lord says in (Mathew24:29-30). Now, if the days of eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, buying and selling, planting and building can be placed after the tribulation when the sun is darkened, the moon no longer gives her light, when the stars have fallen from heaven and the powers of heaven have been shaken, I mean those are the days that s going to be leading up to the coming/ second judgment, then by all means, there's going to be a post-tribulation rapture because as the Lord said, both his judgment and the rapture will happen on the same day. But, if not. PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE!

Look again at I Thess 4:17. Where it says “shall be caught up together with them” the Greek text says, ἅμα σὺν αὐτοῖς ἁρπαγησόμεθα (hama syn autos harpagesometha). Harpagesometha is a passive indicative 1st person plural verb. The conjugated form of harpazo. It means to be snatched away, taken from danger, caught up, seized or carried off by force. It is translated “caught up” in 15 English translations of the NT but the Greek is harpagesometha. In the Latin we read, “qui relinquimur simul rapiemur” also translated into English as “shall be caught up together”. But notice the verb rapiemur. That is the antecedent of the English verb rapture. The word rapture comes from rapiemur. Its right there even in the Latin translation of I Thess 4:17. The Greek verb harpazo has the idea of rescuing from danger. As you would snatch away, to grab by force, a small child who wandered into the street and was in the path of an oncoming car. You see this verb again in Rev 12:5 where we read in the KJV, “and her child was caught up unto God and to His throne.” Caught up again = a verb form of harpazo. We find harpazo only 13 times in the NT. Matt 11:12 take it by force; Matt 13:19 catcheth away; John 6:15 take it by force; John 10:12 catcheth them; John 10:28 pluck them out; John 10:29 pluck them out; Acts 8:39 caught away; Acts 23:10 take my force; 2 Cor 12:2 caught up; 2 Cor 12:4 caught up; Jude 1:23 pulling them out of the fire; plus Rev 12:5 and I Thess 4:17. That’s it. It is NOT found in Matt 24:29. And in every instance it is translated caught up, taken by force, carried or catcheth away, pulled out. It is never translated anywhere in koine Greek as gather. In Matt 24:31 “gather his elect” is not harpazo, its ἐπισυνάξουσιν (episynazousin) from episynagō. That word means to bring or gather into one place. It is not a snatching, or seizing, carrying away by force, or caught up to the throne of God. You are trying to equate two separate events into one event by not understanding the Greek verbs. You do not have to understand or agree, but the word which we get “rapture” is right there in I Thess 4:17.

One tiny wrinkle in this is that Mark 13 vs 24-28 and matt 24 vs 29-31 clearly show that the rapture comes" after the tribulation of those days" . 1 Thes 4:13-17 is the second coming with the one and only resurrection (John 6: 40-54, 11:24, Rev 20:4-6, 1 Cor 15:52) which is on the last day, last trump. Luke 17:22-36 is the pre-trib rapture without a resurrection. We leave our flesh on earth (verse 37). We get a heavenly body in heaven (2 Cor 5:1-10, 1 Cor 15:40).

Sleep is used as a metaphor for dying/sleeping in death. Not everyone will die physically, but be changed at the rapture. All of us do die though, Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:31 says “I die daily”. Does Paul literally die everyday? Does he stop breathing and physically die? No. All of us who deny ourself die to our flesh, which is what Paul is saying here.

You make the bible makes more sense ! I grew up Christian reformed and they combined the rapture and 2nd coming as one event . And replacement theology too . And no literally millennium kingdom . Studying for myself we switched over to a Calvary chapel church that teaches like you! Take the word for itself . Scripture interprets scripture. Verse by verse the whole counsel of God ! We are just tasting what will happen in the 7 yr tib . It's going to be so bad! We are getting a glimpse so we can tell ppl get in The Ark ! A urgency we are giving ! The movie called before the wrath paints a beautiful picture of the rapture!

The 1st century generation of people understood jesus was returning in their lifetime, john was at patmos while in tribulation.paul said the time was near,those who pierced him would see him in his coming.they were looking up , jesus told his deciples that they would not all pass away before he came back.jesus said verily I tell you this will happen in this generation. They fled from judea in their lifetime, the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple was the end of age coming. It all happened in 70 ad.the armies surrounded Jerusalem and all was fulfilled. Praise God.

brother, in your first 2 minutes you ask "what did the first church think?" valid question. You know, because I've seen you teach on this ... 2 Thess 2 addressed this very issue. The thessalonians thought they'd missed the rapture (or whatever word they used back then) ... but Paul PLAINLY tells us "immanent rapture" is a false teaching before the antichrist is revealed. THE antichrist, not the "many antichrists" which John referenced (which is legit, but THE Temple desecrating antichrist in the last 42 months before Jesus sets-up His Millennial Reign. So unless that revelation occurs before the "Jacobs Troubles," pretribulation Church rapture cannot be. The tares are gathered before the wheat. If the church is to be pretribulation raptured, where are those tares held for the period of the tribulation before they are thrown into the fire? I mean, they're not gonna just stand around in the Valley of Meggido for 42 months (or 7 years or whatever) I endorse forebearance ... but I find it interesting that we are doubling down on a teaching which became popular in the early 1800s. AFTER Paul wrote the letters to the Thessalionians telliing them to "simmer down." when Jesus said in Matthew ... endures to the End. What does that mean? Is the End the immanent moment of the Church's rapture ... or is it ... His vanquishing His enemies just as there remains but a third of Jerusalem remaining in the battle of Armageddon? I have a hope and wonder about those things which will be greater than Jesus did ... John 14:12 ... those things which I cannot even imagine right now. How are those things going to be done if the church is immmanent pretrib raptured? When the kingdom was likened to the marriage virgins ... 5 wise and 5 foolish. For how long were the wise ready to burn their lamps? an hour after dark ... midnight ... or sunrise? The foolish couldn't burn theirs at all. Apparently they thought their Groom would take them before the sun set? IDK ... bu they couldn't burn their lamps at all, and they were not prepared when the Groom DID arrive. I pray that I those I know by name and those I do not know by name yet will be worthy to receive the power The Spirit will be pouring into Jesus' Followers ... to become an overcomer. I love your teachings (even though you talk funny! :P ) ... I have been corrected from 40 years of being taught and teaching this immanent pre trib rapture of the Church. The Church will be raptured just prior to the Wrath of The Lamb. The bowl judgements. get extra oil, folks. We're gonna need it.

All of the verses speaking of that day indicate post tribulation. The best part of the Bible to point people towards in my opinion is 2 Peter 3. It uses the imagery of the thief in the night to illustrate the shock of the Lord's coming, but then spells out the immediate wrath poured out when He returns. It all happens at once, but people want to believe there will be this second chance for people who didn't believe when they had the chance. There will be nothing done in secret! His coming will be the biggest and most glorious sight to behold! The dead will rise first, and then the living! The living do not precede the dead! Where is this repeated in the Bible? It isn't! Don't get me wrong, I would love it if I could escape all of the terrible things going on in the world right now. We have to keep things in perspective though. How many of our dear brothers and sisters in Christ have fallen to the persecution where they are? Are we so vain to think that we won't have to stand up for our faith as they did? In almost every country we're persecuted more and more each day! I'd love to be wrong here, but I am prepared for the worst time in history, just as Jesus and the Apostles warned us to be ready.
