You know what else I like about Moi dix Mois? The fact they're one of the few bands that not only shred on the guitar, but also the pipe organ and harpsichord, they TEAR THAT SHIT UP!!

What I like about Mana, is that he brings a grand spectrum of the gothic enviroment into the music, and the kind of gothic enviroment inspired by the victorian ages. The bands you know today, as beeing "goth", don't use these elements, and have become alot more electronic. Moi Dix Mois brings the romance of goth back in you when you listen to the music
@zetovidillard2 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's true but goth music a wide spectrum of anything that derives from post punk goth rock so it doesn't invalidate that darkwave, New wave, and similar genres are still goth they just aren't as spooky anymore.

We know it is Visual Kei. Visual Kei is a variety of blends of punk, rock, metal, and electronica with gothic, glam, and/or cyberpunk influences. Moi dix Mois in particular, their style is more gothic symphonic metal even though they are a Visual Kei band.

L.Lawliet Ideki K was the other guitarist for Moi Dix Mois (he's misnamed as "Shadow X" at the beginning of the video). He died over four months ago ( I don't know the cause).

Meli Missfit As a true fan of Moi dix Mois, and owner of the albums, I can say that K's name in the official album 「Nocturnal Opera」 is indeed written as Shadow X. However, it was changed to K sometime before the Invite to Immorality live in 2005, as he was called K there. K was also not called a guitarist until the same live, just a death voice. After the live, he is known as vocal and guitar. And he died of a heart problem. I made a video about it on my other channel, "Malice Mizer dix Mois" :)

ive heard somewhere that 'music is our travel machine' and i couldnt disagree with it so I suddenly remembered this band because i had this one online friend on Orkut back in 2000s, and her name was "shimizu" and i remember she had one profile picture of her cosplaying the nurse from silent hill 3, and at the time i didnt used to listen to this kind of music, but she was obcessed about it and idk i just remembered her today, and went searching for this band, this was like almost 15 years ago, i was just a prick, so wherever you are, and if somehow youre reading this, i hope youre doing well in your life

I don't speak for most Moi Dix Mois fans. Most just jumped the bandwagon because they're from Japan and sing in Japanese. Anyways, Moi Dix Mois is so good with words. Their lyrics are so deep, yet simple at the same time. Sometimes a little simplicity is good. I especially love the lyrics in songs like Pessemiste and Exclude. Lol: If most of those anime kids could read Japanese right they'd know those songs are about people just like them. XDD I love this band for that reason as well.

I have no clue why no one has mentioned it yet, but why is MAD INGRAIN being played at the beginning of this track? It's not part of the actual song and they're not even close either because MAD INGRAIN is track seven of the original album while Nocturnal Romance is track three... MAD INGRAIN is supposed to be its own thing.
