Back story: Josh and Julia were actually reel to real couple (aka Joshlia). They have been together for more than 3 years. Everyone loved them for their great chemistry but when Julia got casted in a movie with a different leading man (Gerald Anderson) everything went 180° and people started hating Julia. Apparently, Gerald and Julia developed romantic feelings for each other while they were still both in a relationship with Bea Alonzo and Josh, respectively. When josh says that he didn't even got to protect her, he was referring to that time when Julia got bullied by people on social media for allegedly ruining Gerald and Bea's relationship and not giving Josh closure. These all happened over a year ago. So this is essentially the closure people have been wanting Joshlia to have.

This is actually unscripted, this is their official message to each other as aclosure to their relationship. Upon confirmation from the the one who played the role of the Priest which is even him had to go outside the church he had no idea that this was happening inside, it's only Joshua, Julia, Moira (singer), the Director and some Cameramen were left there when taking this part.😢

According to the actor who played as the Priest, when they are going to shoot the last scene 'which is the girl apolozing' the director asks almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two to just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. There's no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think the reason why this hits so hard is because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using this music video

It took them one year to see each other and agreed to do the music video and it also became their CLOSURE SONG. It was beautifully made. The reason why this mv hits so hard is because these two are very famous actors in the Philippines and many admired their relationship coz why not they're really cute together but things happened and it was toxic, she was accused of being the 3rd party of another couple's relationship, another said that he was not there for her when she was so down and when she needed him the most, it was a big issue in the entertainment industry. Really chaotic. But then the root problem there is that these two didn't have a proper closure. And THIS was the closure they needed. And everyone felt the pain, because it was so real.

This hits even harder because "they USED to be together" and this is the closure they needed. Everyone atleast knows a little about them because they are among the few artists that were open about their relationship to the public. And on the last few moments before the break up, the girl received so much hate and bullying because of rumors that she had a fling with her partner in a film at that time who also had a girlfriend.
