I always wait for the fade to fully activate to avoid the momentum messing with the upward movement, or I do a counter move to break the momentum and make the character go as high as possible. When I try to jump without being completely still, part of the movement pushes the character forward, and sometimes they don’t reach max height because of that. Moira's fade is so fun to use. if you can master the timing of the ability, you can go anywhere on the map.
