Suite of Mexican dances «Sapateo», «Avaliulko».

Choreography by: I. Moiseyev
The dance consists of two parts. First “Sapateo” - male paired dance - reflects Mexican national atmosphere, when men are trying to conquest young girls’ sympathy by their skill of dancing. The second part - “Avaljuico” - united male and female dance.
The choreography is based on the elements of traditional Mexican folk dance.

@@josealbertoviartmunoz9509 En una muy personal y respetuosa opinión, no necesariamente sea una "demostración de ignorancia"; simplemente pudieron estar tocando esa pieza como introducción o preludio a la música y folklore mexicano, tal vez al o después de haber anunciado el programa; otra cosa sería que hubieran bailado "las Alazanas" con el traje veracruzano, pero no, solo salieron a escena a tomar posición y ya después danzaron la música correspondientes. No hay que ser tan estrictos, y mejor apreciar que este Ballet rindió homenaje a nuestra cultura mexicana.

Veracruz he bailado todos los sones jarochos y muchos de otras regiones de México, al ver a éste magnifico ballet Ruso ejecutar el son del Ahualulco me llena de gozo y admiracion por tan apreciado gesto hacia nuestra musica y cultura de mi México lindo y querido. No he visto nengún otro ballet que valore tanto, como el Moiseyev Ballet a la cultura de otras tierras. En otros vídeos se puede apreciar como bailan la milonga El Firulete del máistro argentino Mariano Mores y luego zapatean Malambo cual si fueran gauchos de nuestras pampas. В1974году эти концерты из зала Чайковского по телевизору показывли много раз! Но один из них перевернул мою судьбу! Я решила стать , как Игорь Моисеев, преподавателем подобно ему! И стала ,не как ОН, но стремилась быть всю жизнь подражать и использовать его методику! Спасибо всему , чему удалось научиться у этого ГЕНИЯ, СПАСИБО , что этот коллектив жив и покарил весь мир!

Entré pensando que eran mexicanos, la música impecable con todo el sabor y al iniciar el baile me impactó darme cuenta - recién allí - que no eran mexicanos sino rusos. Absoluta y agradablemente sorprendida por el dominio del baile, observé esos pequeñitos detalles que revelan que no son mexicanos y que, increíblemente, sólo eso los diferencia de los auténticos hijos de la tierra de los volcanes (obvio no soy mexicana).
