So the origin of this whole thing derives from a bunch of old maps that labeled most of southern Asia as "Tartaria" or "Tartarie". Some people for some reason took that to think that the British empire destroyed the Tartarian empire. Or that they were erased from history in a "mud flood", or that they're being hidden from us or something.
