However Using "goofing off" as an excuse to be relatively unable to figure out new systems of new games designs on the fly doesn't really scream "goofing around", it screams "I have no idea what I'm doing". I think the demon was imprisoned in the box. Then a death spell was placed on it so nobody would open the box. Everyone would know, if they opened this box, they would die. He was hoping to prevent the demon from ever escaping because most people wouldn't want to die. I guess someone was willing to die to release the demon. Or at least willing to open the box.

@@obi-wankenobi1173 I mean that's what's makes sense given the context of the sentence. If it was the other way around, they would have said, "A great wizard cast a death spell upon the demon. However, the demon was very powerful, and the death spell could only weaken him. With this opportunity, the wizard imprisoned the demon in a magical box, to seal him away forever." The way it was written does not support the latter however. Lol you don't imprison something in a box WITH a death spell, you imprison something in a box (that has a death spell upon it), discouraging anyone from opening the box.

@@obi-wankenobi1173 Otherwise the author needs to explain a lot more. Like when a demon is hit with a death spell, they actually revert to box form, because they cannot die from that magic. So you stopped the demon, but the potential is there for the demon to return. Lol. Lot of room for creative writing. I didn't finish the video or play the game so I am unaware of the author's full expression on this matter.
