I do take notes for my wash and go’s!!! I use this app called hair journal. And I’ve been using it since I transitioned. It allows you to take pics &save it in your hair profile, and I write notes on the pics stating which products I used and what day from my wash&go im in. I love it especially that I can go back and look how I transitioned. I recommend this app!

The shampoo has sodium cocoyl hydrolyzed soy protein, which is a surfactant derived from soy protein; it's one of the cleansers in the product, not a protein. The conditioner has hydrolyzed baobab seed protein, which is a lightweight protein; it does strengthen, but it's more for moisture. I don't see anything that could be a protein or confused for protein in the leave in serum, the style cream, or the oil. I also don't see any silicones in the products you showed. I've never heard of this brand, but I might have to go check them out

I didn't notice my ethnicity until high school. I went to a small religious Jamaican American school pre-k through 8th; everyone was every shade of brown, and we grew up together (~20 in every graduation class) so beauty wasn't something we really cared about. When I went to a relatively regular high school (charter school) where 70% of the school was white, though maybe half was white hispanic, I saw the dynamics of race and beauty in America through the cliques. Uncoincidently, 9th grade was also the year I started wearing makeup and caring about my outfits. Edit: Beautiful results 😍😍😍

My hair type doesn't allow me to not use gel but in the winter time I use heavier creams and less gel. Did my first wash and go with the As I Am JBCO line. Used the leave in while my hair was soaking wet, kept my hair wet with a plastic shower cap. Each section I kept dripping wet while I applied the curling creme and a little of the wetline xtreme gel. Best wash and go to date! I can't wait until you review the line! #madcurlsmademedoit 😁😁❤
