Yes, it was. I spent 3 hours today before it got hot out and got a big dent put in. Now I am relaxing and watching my neighbors spend their money on fireworks. Happy Independence Day 2024 Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍

Happy 4th 🇺🇸! I carry a hatchet and my moisture meter on deliveries so if anyone has any doubts about how dry it is they can pick some out and we can test it. Wet wood is the biggest complaint I hear about the other people that the customer has gotten wood from. I’ve delivered a lot of wood to people that already have a stack from someone else that won’t burn properly. The moisture meter is a great way to not be that guy. Good video.

Happy Independence Day to you and your family as well. I don't want to be that guy, but I want to be the guy and watching KZbin years ago. I was seeing someone use one of these meters and bout one just to play with. So now it lives in the truck, so when someone has a question, I can split open a piece, and we can see. So fsr no one has been unhappy with me. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍

I have been the guy outside working in the rain. Since it's a steady rain and a dump, it's easy to work through. Now, weather over 70s, I have a hard time. Hopefully, the canopy helps with that. Happy Independence Day 2024 Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍

That canopy is a great idea Daniel. That wood should be below 20% within a few months.

Down to 20% in less than a month. That wood dries fast with a slight breeze and decent weather.

Douglas Fir definitely dries/seasons fast, and with the 90s + degree heatwave, we will be having it should excelerate it. But we shall see the canopy is already working great. Happy Independence Day 2024. Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍

That sunshine will dry out that fir in no time i bet, at least by January if its covered well in the fall, well low 20s your good to sell now darn near, Them trees might have been dead standing, or dying out, ive got some maple logs to work on myself, theyve checked and split so much already, this heat wave is gonna be a brute drink water bud.

In the sun with a slight breeze, less than a month for it to hit 20% if nothing is over 25%. Hell, I've seen white pine go from 35% to 20% in less than a month.

It's got both sunshine and a breeze, so we shall see in a month where it's at. If it has to sit a year, that's ok with me as that means it will be even better than letting it go early. Happy Independence Day 2024 Thank you for watching and commenting 😉 👍
