This is the simplest recipe for stuffed peppers.
You only need a few ingredients, but I'm sure you won't be able to stop eating these peppers.
If your children don't like stuffed peppers, you can make krompi-pompi, i.e. a version without peppers or with hidden peppers, which I talk about in the recipe.
Enjoy this recipe that my mom prepared for you.
Ingredients:
1700 g of potatoes
2 small red onions
2 eggs
250 ml of milk sweet cream or 3 spoons of homemade cream
12 g of salt
5 g of vegetable seasoning
pepper as desired
4 peppers
Preparation
Prepare 1700 g of potatoes, peel them and put them in cold water.
Finely chop 2 small or 1 large head of red onion.
Also clean the peppers by cutting off the stem and removing the seeds.
Salt each pepper from the inside with a pinch of salt.
Only when you have prepared everything, start grating the potatoes.
Grate the potatoes on the larger side of the grater and when you have grated them, add finely chopped onions, 2 eggs, 250 ml of milk cream or, if you have 3 spoons of homemade cream.
Season with 12 g of salt, 5 g of vegetable seasoning and pepper as desired.
Mix everything well and stuff the peppers.
You should not cram the potatoes into the pepper too much, so that they are not compacted and remain uncooked.
Our peppers were a little thicker and the potatoes were baked well, but if you can find a little thinner and smaller peppers than the ones we had in the video.
Arrange the peppers in a greased pan and place the rest of the potatoes between the peppers.
Bake the stuffed peppers at 180 °C for about 50 minutes.
If your children don't like peppers, feel free to just make potatoes and bake them in the oven.
However, if you can, hide a few peppers under the potatoes because the taste of those potatoes is a little better.
