For Rodrigo Borgia in Assassin's Creed 2, while the fight itself was too easy, he had to live, since AC2 ends in 1499. The real Rodrigo Borgia, a.k.a. Pope Alexander VI didn't die until 1503, hence why he didn't die until AC Brotherhood.

@@MatiZ815 ac1/2 stealth sucks, bh/rev may lack but you can find a replacement for things like crouching, cover, even kidnapping but most are extremely clunky and may cause auto-detection. AC3 basically upgraded the stealth, but it suffered for being too realistic like not being able to hide while you're suspicious unless you break your line of site. The new games' stealth is pretty interesting (i havent played valhalla yet) because Odyssey's is based around adrenaline and some adrenaline free skills, has 5 assassination types and brazier traps are AC3-level badass. Origins did an even better job with the stealth cuz it had 2 different types of poison, sleep darts, smoke, vases with snakes that can be destroyed to employ enemies and also the super cool fire bombs. Another feature removed from odyssey for no reason is the fake target lock, where you can see a dot cursor and use it for cover-behind-low-wall assassinationsor even longer range air assassinations. Gonna have to disagree with the Sphinx being on this list. I encountered it first hand and honestly a battle of wits is refreshing when every other boss is a health bar. We get some much needed variety for this face off. Stakes were higher because of the insta-kill, forcing you to think. It makes Kassandra look good after because we now know she is not all brawn. Easy riddles? Sure but we have the benefit of hindsight. The best time will always be the first impression when you meet the Sphinx for the 1st time. Personally, I would have put the Erymanthian boar instead just for the disrespectful poison fart mechanic. Losing to ass gas is the worst. Even after you win, this will not be a battle you will look back on fondly. It's kind of embarassing to think about

Revelations is a joke. There is no real final boss just a chase sequence and the amount of effort in the story is minimal. Being forced to kill targets in a plot based context is just bad. Even Unity and Syndicate had better design for the missions

The key to succeeding in the original game is to not be bad at the combat. I say that sort of as a joke, but also if you utilized all the combat moves, not just the counter attack, you could get a good rhythm going and wreck everyone. The Timing is key though. Practicing in the arena in masayaf helps too

The Charles Lee chase scene at the end of AC3 frustrated the hell outta me the first few times I played, and the war elephants were a bothersome side boss(es) in Origins, to the point that I didn't even bother going after all of them after defeating just ONE of them. Hell, even after defeating them, I didn't really feel that much fulfilled afterwards. Same with the Sphinx in Odyssey as well. I'm definitely glad they all ended up making this list.

I love the chasing and complete the optional objectives Non of this is compared to the missions of Leonardo DaVinci War machines (hell on wheels), specially when you are trying to complete along the optional objectives. Personally, I found myself wanting more than just a mere 12 Borgia Towers in Brotherhood. As a gamer who enjoys stealth-optional missions, I found these to provide a fun time. And the cowardly nature of the captains & their position in conjecture to the layout of the fort to provide a challenge that makes one have to think on their feet in order to get the drop on em! In lieu of this as the entry for Brotherhood, Id say as long as we're not confined to focusing on actual bossfights given there only bein just one legit one, Id replace the captains with DaVinci's machines. Probably the tank more so than the others due to how infamously difficult that is to control.

Im not sure why so many of your complaints are about difficulty when the Assassin's Creed games are one of the easiest franchises to play. There's no difficulty to it, it's literally a game that people show children to help them get a feel for a controller

The worst thing about the fight with Ahmed was that stupid bug. A known bug from the beginning, but not even fixed in the Ezio-collection, where you simply can't beat ahmed cause you can't counter his last attack and get desynchronized.... Had this bug on PS4 (funnily enough not on my PS 3 copy of the original game)

@@thefishoffishall3395---Most of the time I just do it myself. With the sold exception of this one Borgia Captain on Horseback. I just call down an arrow storm on him. Works like a charm. And when I play the game I go after as many of the Borgia Captains as Early as I can. Mostly in the sequence where you make contact with the three groups of people that aid you the most in the game.

Bruh I defeat the real de sable after killing all of his army easily, and then only 1 counter to de sable, he fell, and then I use my hidden Blade, I dont understand why peoples trying so hard, when you can just take defensive position and then counter them all, and throw them from the cliff

I hate that boss battle with a passion, because after all we have done with Bayek, build his armour and build the weapons, spent SO much time building him up to be a strong Assassion... WE PLAY AS AYA!!!!! 🤬 They threw us back to level one, and Aya/Amunet is a terrible Assassin, so, all our effort means nothing to this moment when we play as Aya, making the boss battle is much harder, for This was the last boss in the game, the last member of the Order of the Ancients, and we face him as Aya, our efforts wasted and was a son of a bitch to kill.

If you read the tutorials and practice the combat in AC1, fighting multiple enemies really isn’t that hard. The narrator of the video makes it sound impossible and unfulfilling. All I can say is Okay I guess lol.

Though the ending was underwhelming, I thought the boss battle against Liam in Rogue was actually good for what it meant emotionally to Shay. The battle against Hope, while novel, would probably be my choice for the worst, because chasing her down with the poison still in effect just became tedious after a while.

I don't agree with the worst Black Flag Boss. For me it is the Commander in Charles Town. One Bad Jump and you miss him and he flee to the Gates. I've done the Chase more then Ten Times. The First Chase is the Tutorial and it doesn't count how long you need to reach him.

Disagree for rogue, while Liam’s final chase does sorta suck, the game lends itself to the chase because everything’s crumbling around you as you’re running. It sucked, don’t get me wrong, but the assassination mission for hope sucked balls. You’ve gotta climb slowly through a warehouse with poison on the floor, then when you get out, she hits you with a poison dart that kills you slowly if you don’t continue to move. This wouldn’t be that bad if a. The poison didn’t also affect the entire screen (it was damn near impossible to aim for shit) and b. Full synch required no detection. I can’t get detected but I also can’t aim properly and I have to keep moving or I’ll die. Lots o fun for sure.

The old ac games aren't built for boss fights sadly, they're way too easy. Like for rodrigo Borgia I spammed throwing knives on one playthrough and beat him instantly, casere was a good attempt of a boss fight I quite enjoyed that one, Manuel palaiologos was also easy, 1 grenade and he's done. Black flag bosses were easy Same with rogue Germains one sucked Starrick was cool but also confusing and hard to dodge the laser walls, but even then it was so easy to beat. Origins semptimius boss fight was BS, the gallec brothers on your own is BS, the elephants weren't that bad, shoot them in the @ss and balls whenever you can to inflict tonnes of damage
