Decades of apathy both by our national establishment and the global elite towards specific causes concerning Hindus the world over for decades , has contributed to the prevarication that currently grips the world opinion on this issue. It is time we walk the talk on being the bedrock of Hindus in despair and take frontal action . There will be pushback on this issue towards our proactive role . But we must be resolute on our attempts to stand by Bangladeshi Hindus no matter the cost. That is a strategic stance we will have to adopt and persist with.

Thus goes the argument - In an Islamic Republic, violance against minorities exercising their right to side with relatively more liberal progressive leaning political parties should be labeled political violance and not viewed through a sectarian lens. This argument isn't a serious one, it just serves one purpose which is to provide cover to sectarian forces the rise of whom is clearly visible in Bangladesh.

We warmly invite any Indian and journalist to visit Bangladesh and see the situation firsthand. While minor incidents have occurred, they have been disproportionately exaggerated in the Indian media. There is nothing to alarm either Bangladeshi or Indian Hindus, nor should these issues become a concern for Indian politics. If India has any concerns, they can engage directly with our diplomats and seek clarification from the Bangladesh government. Unfortunately, certain groups are exploiting these narratives to garner superficial support from Indian Hindus, which undermines the strong, brotherly bond between our nations. Some entities including people associated with fallen govt ,may even be funding Indian media to promote their own agendas. West Bengal, in particular, has no reason to worry about the safety of Bangladeshi Hindus. Remarks from some leaders of hardline Hindu Organization as well as journalist have unnecessarily fueled tensions with their anti-bd and anti yunus statements, which do not reflect the beliefs or support of the average Hindu. We understand Yunus is not liked by Indian media and people due to his challenge to Indian hegemony. It’s also important to note that many Indians, whether legally or otherwise, work in Bangladesh, collectively earning and remitting $7-8 billion annually. Additionally, trade between the two countries has grown to $15 billion under this government and continues to thrive, while illegal trade-estimated at $10 billion-also significantly benefits India. Why jeopardize this valuable and mutually beneficial relationship for no substantial reason? Let’s handle these matters wisely and avoid stoking unnecessary tensions.
@riadhossain47084 сағат бұрын
It’s disheartening to see the extent of hatred Ambassador Veena Sikri harbors against Yunus and the people of Bangladesh. It’s unfortunate that she once served as India’s ambassador to Bangladesh, and her agenda or motivation for spreading such negativity in the media remains unclear.

She has been leading garbage launcher on behalf of deposed Awami League and leading source of misinformation and disinformation on Bangladesh. By the way, Golam Azam's son Brig Azmi was sacked by Awami League Government and was a victim of enforced disappearance for 8 years only to be released days after the fall of mafia regime of Hasina from a secret prison.

There is damning evidence. No amount of whitewashing will help. India is not going to tell Bangladesh what to do but it will definitely cut off all electricity and raw material supply to your textile industry. Neither will our doctors in Bengal treat a single Bangladeshi patient (and believe me, tons of bangladeshi patients come to India all the time for treatment). Also, the 1.5 crore illegal Bangladeshis in India are going to be thrown back into your country. Lastly, her name is Barkha, not Burkha. Not everything is Muslim.

Sad part is the poor n less knowledgeable people with less truth to realise, follow blindly been make used. Take a look the example of Singapore where we are living in peaceful with all religions including Muslim. U tell me why is it possible ,cause the government have a fair rules not to allowed any religious leaders to talk or spread religious hatred which causes fighting n disharmony which brings bad new to the country. My friend u tell me if the fanatic leaders even get what they want ,do u n family will be better life then b4. I'm sure the religious radical leaders n his gangs n family with comfort. Take a understanding what's happening in Pakistan. The Army n family n religious leaders are having a good time but the people's are suffering. Bangladesh is a country free from religious communalism culturally and traditionally which is rare in the world. Bangladeshi Muslim people have been harmoniously living with Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and many other minorities since the inception of liberation and we are quite good in relation still today. No riot is here and Dhaka is quite normal, no fighting or tension is there. On the other hand, Indian medias are irritating us and creating tension among peace loving Bangladeshi people. Indian media reporters should visit Bangladesh and report on facts. Nobody is above law. Law would take its own course. Bangladeshi Hindus are wonderful.It is a patriotic duty of our Bangladeshi Hindu brothers & sisters irrespective of profession and occupation to tell the truth to the media and people of the world. There is a saying in every religion that telling a lie is a great sin. Every country should respect other countries' sovereignty and integrity.
