We're obviously aware of and deeply concerned about the global pandemic, and are choosing carefully what to publish as forms of escapism and entertainment to help ease thoughts of anxiety, and provide an alternative from the news. We are obviously NOT encouraging anyone to travel now or discouraging social distancing. Do you agree that these destinations shouldn't be so popular?

I have to disagree with Venice, stayed in an Airbnb by the Arsenale in November and it was great. Stay away from the main squares and you can grab a €3 campari from a little side street. Plus getting up at sunrise and walking around an empty St Marks Square is the ultimate way to experience it. Venice is great just don't fall into tourist traps

I will live by this statement because everyone says it but Times Square was magical to me. People get so worked up when they see the slightest amount of advertisement. It is indeed full of in your face ads, but it's only in your face if you pay attention to that fact. Take a moment to look at all the neon lights and cyberpunk-esque stuff and you'll have a whole different view of Times Square.

I’ve been to both the Christ the Redeemer statue as well as Sugarloaf Mountain, and I had exactly the opposite experience. I think it depends on your ability to beat the crowd. We went to Christ the Redeemer first thing in the morning. We were one of the first groups allowed in the park for the day. Don’t go for the statue, go for the INCREDIBLE view you get from the platform. One of the most astonishingly beautiful sights you will ever see. Sugarloaf mountain was extremely crowded when we went in the afternoon. Beautiful up there as well, but I would recommend getting to either site first thing in the morning.

My insight in Every places included in this video Note I will only tell my insights in places included in the video that I have visited in my years of Travelling around the world: Let's Start! Leaning Tower of Pisa: Yes indeed it's a tourist trap Just remembering how many people travels to Pisa to see the this tower is so frustrating.. literally it's just a cylinder decorated outside but empty and distressing inside.. Don't get me wrong Pisa is still an amazing destination.. The City itself is so vibrant and full of charms and The Cathedral of Pisa near the Tower holds a special place as a trophy of Romanesque architecture London: London is very good place.. It is still a very lovely place to visit but Tourist must know where are they going before they actually go there.. Be honest thoo many Tourist are disappointed because they can't see that London isn't full of lavish and royaly architechture.. IT IS A CITY, i mean A BIG BIG ONE so be aware that you should always expect London to have an atmosphere of a MAJOR city that is full of crowds cityscape with pollution and of course traffic... London isn't frozen in time and it is the heart of UK so expect it to act like a chaotic land not a quiet museum Las Vegas: Yes it is a tourist trap and yes that's how Las Vegas is thriving.. The video is right all all those lights, buildings lavish hotels and casinos can be overwhelming and make one feel that it's all fake... Las Vegas is pretty historic well sometimes This hotels and Casinos makes it somehow hidden from the first sight CN Tower: Another tourist trap.. But the view is very good Though.... It is very beautiful to see but to think of that you can get to a rooftop of any other high building in Toronto can make it more appealing plus instead of spending your bucks to go up in the tower why not just include it in your background in your selfie in a high building it is more appealing people will more likely to know that you are in Toronto Times Square: Honestly yes to know that it is just a square where you can see high buildings is a promising one to everyone that never lived in New York or a big City with much skyscrapers... To be Honest the video is right it is just the Vegas Strip it was the lights and the man made things gathered up in an area that makes is appealing to tourist but be aware tho it is very crowded and Traffic is common in that area but what do others say? its also the part of the charm Of almighty New York Venice: Yes and NO cuz first Venice isn't a tourist trap cuz it is really the one that has the appeal, the history the beauty and everything but the problem is with the so much of its appealing look people flock the area and with so much publicly the problem got worse and worse.. Venice isn't a tourist trap cuz the place is very deserving but It is OVERCrowded and that kinda takes the deserving to visit title of it sadly Loch Ness: It wasn't a tourist rap before but with the rise of the fame of that creature with pop culture,, makes the experience less authentic.. when I visited Loch Ness back in 2014 i was saddened the fact that every people always talk about the Monster and that comes with the restaurants, inns and tours also centered about the monster not with the eternal beauty of the lake Santorini: This place was worth visiting UNTIL It was much discovered and many tourist flocked the area that really became a problem in the island... Back in 2017 my visit their is not the best in my experiences.. like Venice there are People everywhere and it's now really hard to see the real Santorini cuz now it is now covered with people feeding this Resorts and Hotels now gaining the island.. Really the streets were narrow and you will see people falling in line just to get in one place to another cuz it's too crowded The Blarney Stone: sorry haven't visit that one yet sorry cant tell you my experience and insight cuz I dont have hihihi Christ the Redeemer: Ohhhh this one.. dont get me wrong it is still a very good spot in Brazil and I highly respect it and it is an icon of the colorful and festive city of Rio De Janeiro but yah sometimes reality isn't that we expected.. If I ever get the chance to visit The Leaning Tower of Piza, The CN Tower, or Christ the Redeemer, I'm just going to get close enough to the landmarks to include them in a photo op. @@strawberryfieldswhenever yes Exactly this is what I am saying but be aware thoo people go to the Leaning tower of Pisa just to get the picture and walah nothing special so yah it's not worth it and CN good ok take a picture of it instead of going inside of it but Christ the Redeemer thoo, be aware it is in this high landform so getting a picture of it is difficult considering the cityscape of Rio and in the line thoo you cant get the picture cuz the landform covers the statue so no choice but to fall in line for hours and get to the top to get a decent picture of it...

I disagree with Las Vegas. The city does not claim or try to portray itself as natural beauty, it highlights that it is man-made and artificial. I'm guessing some gamble-aholic lost all their money there, and b/c of that it made the list. Las Vegas is far more than just gambling. I've been there four times and have never gambled once. There are so many sites, tours, shows, exotic/artistic hotels, spectacular pools, and great food. You can enjoy the city for so many reasons. If you drive an hour away, you can also do also sorts of ATV off-grid events.

The pyramids were terrible, not the site itself that was okay, but the country and the locals are vile, all the women had to be escorted everywhere and not just the adults but the children too, vendors would physically harass people and trying to get them to buy stuff and the prices were inflated to absurd levels. The best thing about going up to the Christ the Redeemer is not the statue itself but the amazing view that is one of the most beautiful in the world. To avoid crowds you just have to wake up early to arrive there early. If you wake up at 10 and arrive there at noon it will be obviously crowded, but nothing that can spoil your moment. The touristy Venice isn't an image of all Venice. There are 2 Venices, the one on the islands in the lagoon, that is the most famous one, and the terrain Venice, on land, where the magiority of the people live. If you want to experience a real city experience then go to Mestre, but if you go to there historic city in the lagoon, it's no surprise to see a different kind of city, because it's quite inconvenient to have all business and industry on canals. I have written this many times on this channel. Venice is a unique city and a very beautiful city, and you can't criticise it for the way it is. Thing about Vegas is, if you know what you're doing, you can have a lot of fun for a lot less than you think, and if you're lucky, you might even go home with more than you left with. For non-gamblers, there's the Pinball Hall of Fame. No computer simulation can ever replicate the actual experience of playing a live, physical machine. If you spent any time playing pinball growing up, and you're anywhere near Vegas, make time for this one. If you're a gambler, you can find dice tables on the ultra cheap. You could probably still find $5 dice games in Vegas, but good luck with that in Atlantic City, where $10 and even $15 minimums were the norm last I visited. Craps has some of the best bets in gaming, to the point where you can get pretty darn close to a mathematically fair fight...again, if you know what you're doing. And poker tournaments in Vegas can be a terrific value of play time for buy-in, if you know how to analyze a structure sheet. Basically, if you're going to Vegas without any kind of plan, then yes, it's probably going to suck. Do your homework before you go, however, and you'll have a grand time.

It doesn't give you enough time to immerse yourself in the various destinations, plus you are herded like cattle everywhere with not enough time to see the actual destination. Venice, Pisa (leaning tower is part of a park complex and not the actual town!), New York City and London require you to walk around and see the city for yourself. Also, ask locals where are the best places. This has always worked for me. It's makes for a more authentic experience. These type of videos are very subjective.

Thus taking some enjoyment out of it due to crowds. Don't go in summer or you'll be hot and frustrated with crowds and lines in the heat.

Low, or shoulder, season are often much better times to go. If you can. High season is often that because it coincides with school holidays.

Enjoyed my experience of Venice November 19 despite the aqua alta. Saw the outside islands and still felt it unique wandering and getting lost in the paths. Enough to see but understand the local difficulties

I could easily name a handful of other places that are arguably worse during peak tourism season, but you know what? Just skip the summer travel season. Don't be part of the problem.

Alas that is when the school holidays are. Many are constrained by that. I try to avoid that, unless I am combining it with a trip to mum and dad for my birthday.

I leave for Myrtle beach in 5 days with my daughters for our first vacation and trip to the ocean. I’m glad it didn’t make the list and there’s no where on this list that I want to see or experience. I’ve been to Vegas many times and it’s true, 2-3 days is more than enough time to spend there

You are sooooooooo wrong about Venice! I would NEVER discourage anyone from experiencing Venice! Go to Italy towards the end of September or afterwards. And, don’t do a cruise - travel by air and train. Getting lost in Venice is the most magical experience... especially if you stop at a little restaurant and have great wine and seafood as our group did! Also, I can’t agree on Las Vegas either! Have you ever heard of Girlfriend Getaway? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Lastly, I do agree on Times Square ... keep in moving in that area!

I disagree about Liberty Island because you can go IN the statue. And you get to go to Ellis Island too. (The latter does have a bridge but that is closed to the public). And tourist London DOES have lots of free museums which also don't (in non-COVID times) have queues.

LOL idk about London, if your up early enough it’s amazing. and if your in Italy leaning tower is a train ride away LOL so idk if it’s over rated you can stop by on the way to 5 towns by the sea. Venice is like a painting it’s so beautiful. And you can find a couple good pizza spots! Grab some beer and pizza and watch the canals.

Vegas is worth visiting once, just to experience sin city, but far too many people forget that there are many great things to see and do outside of Vegas, within just a couple of hours. Take a break from the city, rent a car, take a drive, see some of those places.
