The Kiners really went all out on this theme for such a minor character. It speaks to their talent that it still manages to memorable. It has that John Williams-y feel to it, even reminds of Jaws at a few points!

It’s a very subtle theme while still being creative. Great observations! The Jawa feeling comes from it being a little off kilter and outside of a clear tonality. And the Jawa comes from consistent and obsessive half step motions.
