When I grow up I want to entertain people like Mokoomba does. This sound is pure, the vocals outta this world. Zimbabwe’s gift to all #MokoombaToTheWorld

Saw you, guys, in the Czech Republic and it was the best performance I've ever seen live. Love from my country and I hope I'll see you again! :)

57:27 weleye , i remember seeing makoomba live at reps theatre in sunshine city harare, they almost brought the house down with this massive tune . i had the privilege of playing with trust (gtr) and abundance (bass) on multiple occasions , wonderful musicians

I disagree because the big guy is Macheso and then WinkyD and Jah Prayzah. yes these guys are good but when it comes to crowd pulling its Macheso. I think the language they sing in is the problem because it's small part of population that understand it. In Zimbabwe lyrics also counts for the song to be accepted. International yes they are very much received its lovely sound and lead singer got powerful voice the band is tight
@joshuasibanda86353 жыл бұрын
We are talking about how good they are not about crowd pulling, jah prayzah, macheso would never manage to play the stages these guys have played at

Great band. But the Bhundu boys paved the way. I would not be surprised if they were influenced by them. keyboard player, bass player and lead all play all resemble the three late members of the bhundu boys. listen to their sound attentively.

@joshuasibanda86353 жыл бұрын
As an avid follower of both Stimela and Mokoomba, they don't sound alike in any way. Mokoomba is just a pioneer of their own afro-fusion in southern africa
