@Aaron david yeah really eh? It’s so strict where I live now. I live on border, I work in the next province and need a number to cross a checkpoint into my own province. The police are handing out fines to spoke not wearing a mask outside.

15:10 seeing this chart put a tear in my eye. I'm so happy to see that your business has exploded in the last few years. Especially as you seemed to be stuck, according to that video a few years ago. You have found the way forward. Don't let the company paperwork bog you down: you have the means to have some professionals take care of it.

David, My dad had the pleasure of visiting Japan this past December. I have been a huge fan for years and he had the opportunity to come by the shop. The prints I received were absolutely stunning. He took a selfie with you and showed me when he returned home, thank you so much for what you do. Love your work and can’t wait to see what is up coming in the new year! Your friend from Toronto, Canada! -Zach

David, Cameron, Jed, carvers, printers, warehouse, admin, fellow supporters, thank you all so much for this community. Watching this journey, and even contributing in some tiny way from afar, is something that means a great deal to me. Here’s to many more!

It's always a pleasure to see a master work, but to see you thrive just brings a smile on my face. I think the element of these new series that strikes me most is the way you and your team have mastered the ability to capture light; especially in the use of strong contrasts between light and dark. It’s almost as if the windows of buildings emit a light of their own. And not just the emission of light, but reflected light, as well. Excellent.

The ‘Shin Honga’ (sp?) you’ve displayed in this video are absolutely breathtaking. I can only hope that you, your staff, and your studio are still going full throttle and did not have too much nonsense to deal with in the wake of COVID. I’m an artist, I’ve got some experience with western style intaglio printmaking techniques; and am now branching out to include mokuhanga. Your videos, your passion for the art of printmaking, and the good old common sense you exhibit about running a sound business of selling quality handmade prints are wonderful resources for those of us who would love to do what you’re all doing, but don’t have anyone to teach us this beautiful, ancient Japanese art in person.

I'm not sure if you'll read this, but just about 10 days ago or so, I visited your store in Asakusa. Thank you Mr David, for being very warm to me and my family when we entered, and its a shame that I did not have the chance to try my hand at your woodblock printmaking class. It was amazing to see the Great Wave woodblock and print in person after following your multiple part series on the restoration of that block. I'll certainly be visiting your store in the near future once I have the means to do so :)
