Hey Dima! I can tell you that the old engine came out yesterday, I am just delayed in editing the videos, but I will post everything :-) I am planning to make a hybrid of the 2 gearboxes, since I think the G6R gearbox has some of the best ratios. The final drive on the C162 Gearbox is shorter than all C-series including the C160 that comes in the Levin, so that makes every gear shorter, more like a rally car. To compensate on the highway, the G6R has a quite longer 6th gear. The result is shorter 1-5 gears and a longer 6 gear for cruising on the highway. However, the C160 gearbox that came with my blacktop has an 1.5way LSD. I will be taking it out of the gearbox, putting it into the C162 gearbox and rebuilding it with new synchros. So I get the best of both worlds... LSD and a silky smooth gearbox with the G6R gear ratios which I love so much. Short gears are really great for such a peaky engine like the blacktop, and the very long 6-th gear will help with gas mileage on the highway... Going from 6th at 120km/h@ 2600rpm to 4th@4200rpm on the 4A-FE was nice, on the blacktop I am expecting something glorious in terms of feeling and acoustics :D I film everything with my mobile phone (Blackberry Q10) and sometimes a Sony WX-9 compact camera. No sophisticated equipment here ;-)

I really need your help. I am swapping a 4efte in a 4efe Corolla. The loom is out. We want to keep the engine bay fuse box loom and add in it the 4efte ECU wires. Can you help me?

Jà tem uns anos, mas deparei-me com este filme agora! Estou a tentar trocar uma centralina de um corolla Sedan de 2000 (e11). Mas não sei se tenho que reprogramar algum parametro por ser de outro veículo (tipo chave ou afins)
