Hi Natalie, where do you play? wich part? Is it not to difficult?
@nataliematichuk79866 жыл бұрын
I'm playing Alto clarinet 1. The part is easy, but getting used to the instrument from the Bb clarinet is kind of tricky thus far

I highly doubt any Eb clarinet wants to have to go that high plus for long periods of time you’re gonna kill them!

I noticed in measures 180 and 184 you have the 2nd Alto going down to a low D, which no alto clarinet can go down to. Would it be better to put a rest there or have the bass clarinet cover that note/ switch notes with the part?

Thanks, is changed in the score :-)

I am completely unsure whether or not you could find an Eb clarinet player willing to play that high. I certainly would say no.

Why does the Eb sound like an organ 2:21

Those clarinets mimic the chorus/registration in pipe organ: two clarinets play the main melody (8-foot pitch), one plays an octave higher (4-foot pitch), E-flat plays one more octave higher (2-foot pitch).
