I'm descended directly from her, by way of the James Holmes Bryson and visited her possible grave site earlier this year. Side note; my parents bought a second home several years ago and I found out later that Daniel Bryson likely walked across it while on the Rutherford Trace Expedition against the Cherokee. Crazy coincidence.

First Cougar. That had me dying with laughter. Keep up the good work.

I am quite familiar with the "Molly Pitcher" story. There is a highway, which is part of I-81 named after Molly Pitcher. I have done some research on this great lady. Frankly, I would like to write a children's book about her as well as Elizabeth. It would be good reading. This was quite an awesome video Col. Carson. Thank you.

I am descended from her through the Brysons also and I grew up in Bryson City. Family lore has it that she was 107 or 8 when she died and the age of 118 was incorrect. Still pretty old.

Well maybe she was one heck of a cook also. Or her husband also had mommy issues. But I'm with you on her age and birthday.
