Molly sounds so sweet, and is obviously a sweetie herself. She reminds me of Dorothy Baxter of the "Good Old Persons", who I had a crush on back in the early 1970's - I had never seen a girl pick bluegrass style like that, until Dorothy opened my mind to the fact girls can pick guitar with the best of them. Now Molly carries on the tradition of old time music played with heart and soul. Thanks for that Molly Tuttle, and now I'm going to watch all your other videos too...!

There is claw hammer on guitar as well as on the ukulele( I think mandolin does have it too ...not sure). There are 4 claw hammer style. Standard , Claw hammer with alternate middle two strings ,drop thumb claw and modified claw hammer.

+veloopity It's a G sus or G modal tuning. Without the capo from bass to treble it would be DGDGCD. Capo on the 5th fret makes it GCGCFG. Pretty cool stuff. In case you're wondering, I call it a G suspended tuning because it differs from a regular open G tuning which is DGDGBD. The B which is the 3rd of G is tuned up to the 4th of G which is C.
