Talking about the mum stuff was so nice and refreshingly honest! I was a single mum with my daughter and thankfully my parents helped me every step of the way because despite being 37 I didn’t have a clue what I was doing! We ended up doing shifts - I did the night shifts and my parents did the day shifts so I could try and get some sleep. But if I heard my daughter cry I’d be jumping up and going to check on her anyway! So after 10 days I was like a zombie. I was hallucinating. My mum gave me ear plugs and sleeping tablets and sent me to bed and I slept for 15 hours straight!! I was in such a state. I don’t know what I would have done without my parents. So yes I would heartedly agree - take ALL help that’s offered - share the responsibilities! If you’re doing it on your own then make sure you ask for help in advance! I moved in with my parents to help with things. It took at least 3 months to get my head straight. My daughter is 9 now and is the absolute love of my life! ❤

I think everyone is entitled to an honest opinion of the brand and Molly should be more open to constructive criticism. While I understand some people are genuinely nasty in their comments, I do hope that the constructive feedback she is getting from people who have actually purchased is not lost on her and are incorporated in the brand. Her Marketing and branding are very solid, it’s about ensuring the quality of the materials reflect the hard work she has already put in

Ignore the Maebe haters. What you’ve built is absolutely amazing. I know bad press can hurt, but you sold out in minutes. Times are hard for many people, and there will be some who just couldn’t afford the items, that can invoke sad feelings. Forgive them. Struggling to afford things you like can feel hard and jealousy is a very human reaction, though a toxic one. People can allow sad feelings to become anger. No one is forced to buy your clothes, or follow you, or take any notice of anything you do. You will never please everyone, it’s impossible. You’ve built something from scratch, providing a stable future for your daughter and showing her that working hard matters. I think you should be hugely proud and shut out negative noise. The way people act and react is actually about them and how they feel about themselves, not about you at all. That’s psychology for you ❤❤❤

You could give all your money to charity and some people would still find something negative to say. Unfortunately there are so many bitter and jealous people who make themselves feel better by finding a reason for you not to be successful either. Unfortunately whether it’s intelligence or empathy they are not able to understand the concept of the time, effort and dedication it would take to create Maebe, so you really don’t need to explain yourself further. The positives of selling out in minutes, the people that came to the events in London, the amount of people that would have attended if they could, and generally the sheer volume of people who follow and support you everyday, FAR outweighs any negativity that you do not need to take on board. So, well done, well deserved, and good luck for future projects!

I love Molly and her vids and I know she didn't really mean to discourage people from going to university, but I will say that regardless of what steps you take after studying, university teaches you a way of thinking. A critical analytical mindset that is really helpful in life and in any job. I think it's important for young people to know that even though it might not be the right choice for everyone, studying is indeed very useful.

Omg that helps so much Zoe and molly! It’s so crazy after uni the pressure by others about a job is ridiculous. Never feel like you need to put your child in someone else's care to "socialize" them. This is a myth and she doesn't need nursery to "learn hitting is wrong" - hitting is totally normal for her age and stage. I am a Mumma of 3 and regret putting them in childcare to go back to work as a nurse when my kids were little. I've learnt from experience Molly but our babies are so precious and those first few years are so important for us to be with them. I know it's the 'norm' to send them to nursery at a young age but it goes against every instinct we have. You are doing an amazing job and the best childcare you could have is your family around you ❤️
@emx75533 ай бұрын
Totally agree. I found little baby music classes and toddler groups where I stayed with them beneficial. They then started preschool at 3. I wanted them to be old enough to speak and tell me what happened. It's nice to have a break but if Molly has family that's much better for Bambi than being a strangers care with lots of other children. All children go through hitting pinching hair pulling phases.
@hunte20052 ай бұрын
Completely agree at that age I was with my baby, I’m not saying everyone is privileged to stay or has a choice. But it’s so young to send them away for a full day when doesn’t even need to.
