I really look up to the leaders of Molokai and the people of Molokai , together you guys have preserved your aina, something my home on Oahu has failed to do... make me feel good to know Molokai is still the way it’s is... to late for Oahu.. sad , just from the 80’s to now I see major changes, even in the people’s attitudes. The best way I can explain it is, Oahu is like the mainland already... sad... mahalo for the video ... Aloha and keep on fighting for Molokai stay the way the people want it to be.. Aloha Iokepa

I left my heart in Molokai last year. Thank you for this beautiful and educational video. I can't be there but I would like to contribute what I can to the Island's continued success in being real and honestly who you are. After DNA testing, I found out I have a tiny bit of Polynesian and Micronesian in my heritage. In my soul, however, I believe it is 100%.

Look Oahu... Hawaiian/local people getting pushed out , some homeless , some gotta leave to Moku honu due to the cost of living... Oahu is the playground of the outsiders who coming in with money... not for the people of the island... Wahiawa , where I was born and raised, surrounded by forest , but “technically” no can go inside cause it’s either military or state owned land... sad when get on forest 20 feet from my house , but surrounded by one barbed wire fence... but ahhh , we go inside anyway, this land is the people’s land.... I not concerned man made laws ... anyway ... mahalo for the video , love what you doing ... Aloha

I really wish there was a way i could help but im trapped on the mainland. Not enough people care and it breaks my heart. So many people take the islands for granted and they don't deserve to live there.
