Aloha. Was graced years ago to be invited to Halawa Valley. The Protocol of greeting and allowing balances a deep respect for God's creation and shows the difference in how people are today. I think maybe there was more use of banana leaves when foil wasn't around 🙂. Mahalo for this video production.

I know it's not my business to say, but a suggestion from a mainland mushroom hunter: carry the picked mushrooms in a porous basket or cloth bag to allow the spores to spread and to keep the fungi from getting too steamy in the plastic.
