For those wondering, the camera recording our regular footage is the Sony A7SIII. Its ability to achieve relatively low levels of noise at high ISOs combined with the f0.95 lens means that under the light of the full moon, we basically have colour night vision.

I’m sure by now you’ve realized those shining lights at the beginning that were distracting Gav are stars. You could clearly see Orion’s Belt and once you saw that. The other 4 main stars of the constellation were evident.

The TV show "raised by wolves" films often using the opposite effect. They will film their night time scenes during the day and turn down the exposure for the alien night
@Yvolve
@Yvolve 10 ай бұрын
@@maxgamesst1 That's a fairly common trick. It is used in many movies, sometimes during the edit. The Mummy (Brandon Fraser one) opens with a pan across a temple complex, which was partially real (the servants bowing for the emperor in his chariot) and shot during the day. They ended up making it night, so you can barely see how much effort went into making the set and seamless transition when edited properly.

This might be one of the coolest videos you’ve ever done. Those shots were incredible and the comparison shot of what you could see vs the camera, the night sky, and how you looked like just ghosts in the fire for the shots, so cool

The last one where you both basically fade-in from total blackness into the light of the molten burst, then fading back to black as it dies out, really should become like a channel trailer or something. It just looks too amazing with that fade-in/fade-out.
