When it comes to Medicine, LEGALLY, ETHICALLY, MORALLY AND HOSPITAL POLICY, states that you cannot treat your own family, ESPECIALLY immediate family, because if there is a death, you can be held accountable by the Hospital Board Integrity Committee. As a hospital employee the only time you can really do anything is if you agree to Organ Donation or Types of treatments if the patient is unconscious.

Hurting, the mother of the patient means she can't do any medical on her child. The best thing for her to do is to clock out and be there for her daughter not trying to tell everyone what to do when it comes to her child.
