Sometimes you just gotta step up and grab a dog in order to get it safe. You could get bitten. The dog does not understand you are rescuing it. They understand you are taking them over though. You take them and give them some food and relax time...a safe place.

I appreciate that Eldad shows it's quite possible to rescue animals without doing this. He uses his calm energy which influences the animals to stay calmer in an already traumatic situation. He demonstrates this over and over again in every video I have seen. I think these women did a great job, but their energy is very frenetic (but also they talk. a lot to each other instead of soothing the animals) and it is influencing the animal's energy to be excited and afraid. Though I think Loreta is more like Eldad. I've seen quite a few videos on this channel and when Eldad is not there, that calmness is lacking. I bet having these women practice meditation throughout the week would help them bring their calming presence to these terrified animals and it would reduce risks of biting and injuries. And of course, Eldad has been doing this for a very long time, so the confidence is also a contributor. Maybe if he trained them individually like he did with Loreta that would help too.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if someone could adopt the whole gang. My husband and I did just that when a neighbors pregnant dog wandered up to our house and had 5 puppies. Two of them died but we kept the rest and had all of them spayed and neutered. We live on a farm so we were able to take long walks in the woods with them, they had acres of fields to run around on. I had many happy years with them. They’ve all passed and I really miss them. If I weren’t getting on in age, I’d do the same thing over with another family of dogs.

This family of dogs got their happy ending, but how many times are dogs abandoned on our city streets and even in the desert that are never found or are killed by cars. It was so great to see the family of dogs running in the back yard of the foster Mom. Thank you ladies of Hope for Paws, to the neighbor who called in and to the Foster Mom.
