Pia Well said she is all that and more. Loretta you have my complete and utter admiration. You are one hell of an amazing lady. I had trouble trying to view this as even seeing some pictures of enclosed spaces makes me feel uncomfortable and my stomach starts to do odd things, my heart feels as if it is beating too fast and I start holding my breath. It all began because some bright spark thought it would be a joke to lock me in a walk in fridge knowing the internal handle was broken. The complete and total darkness and fear were overwhelming. Needless to say his boss tore him a new one but the damage was done and to this day (over 40 years later) being in an enclosed space I cannot control gives me the heebie-jeebies. I take my hat off to Loretta she did all that knowing she is claustrophobic. What a lady.

Same I am claustrophobic too the extreme you're a brave woman for doing this no matter how freaked out you were and even if you had to be " rescued " as well. I rember once being trapped in a narrow cavern for three hours when I was a kid it was so scary I thought I was going to die there trapped underground where I could hear ppl trying to get to me but being unable to summon the courage to wiggle my way out . Thankfully my brother who was a very skinny kid but a bit older eventually crawled into the cavern and helped me out. This woman again has my respect she didn't need to be rescued at all and faced her fear in a way I was not able to do at six it dose not matter that I was a child and she is not this fear is real at any age.

I am in awe. Thank you, Eldad, for letting her have the "reward" of transferring the ducklings into the crate :-) (Btw, some types of ducks always lay their eggs high up in holes or hollows in trees, or on balconies, etc, and the ducklings have to jump/fall many feet to the ground when they are old enough for mama to lead them to water for the first time)

Loreta looks like a beautiful fighting angel with overwhelming love to all animals. She is awesome! It's unbelievable she had well done this hard rescue mission. I've never seen such an attractive, brave rescuer like Loreta. Her creative behavior is so brilliant especially facing tough rescues. She must have a strong will to help all living creatures in trouble. I was impressed by this video so much. I appreciate HFP staff members.

Loretta is just incredible, and is Eldad's equal on these rescues. But never forget how many times Eldad has had to face his fear of heights during a rescue. Focus on the rescue, face your fear. He didn't know Loretta was that claustrophobic, and he helped her face and conquer it. Well done, both of you heroes!!!

Loreta is definitely the hero of this video! She did something amazing. I have a fear of confined places and a huge fear of spiders. I would have been worthless to help the duckling and had to me medicated for days afterwards. She is amazing at putting her heart before her health and you are so blessed to have her help you. At the very least she needs a new pair of shoes for this!

Absolutely bawled my eyes out watching Loreta push through so much anxiety to save these little babies. Truly a real life hero, I'm so so proud and impressed with that level of willpower!

I’ve been always inspired by Loreta’s courage, determination, compassion and instinctively sharp & quick reflexes in so many occasions of rescue animals before, but this time, she showed even much higher and greater spirits and stronger will-power to overcame her claustrophobic panic attack... for such a pure yet noble purpose of rescuing these innocent tiny ducklings 🐥! She once got out because she couldn’t breathe, but again went back down to the dark, narrow, smelly, dirty, disgusting drainpipe(!!), to help Eldad to save ducklings...amazing 👍😭💕 Loreta, you are truly a remarkable amazing special human whom I call a true hero. I’m not a Christian, but today I firmly believe that you are one of those chosen ones, not only beautiful outside but moreover the beauty within you shines through every moment of your kind and courageous acts, which definitely inspire many others and that of course proved you deserve all the credit of wonderful rescue outcomes as well as great love the life can ever offer ❤️ I just wanted to thank you for sharing your fears and weakness as well as your amazing spirit to fight back against your own phobia and overcome the negative anxieties to just simple purpose of helping those ducklings ❤️😍🥰 As always, Loreta & Eldad makes the beyond best rescuer in the world 🌎 Now, I hope you have nice warm shower and hot bath to completely relaxed and celebrate the success of tonight’s rescue and pure happiness to be with your beloved partner and family💕 Happy 4th of July, dear Loreta and Eldad ❣️❣️❣️

Will join with everyone else in rightfully commending Loreta's courage. Sometimes, we don't even know how scary it is until we are deep down the sewer. Those ducklings are adorable. Great save!

Loretta, you didn't face fear. You faced teror. I know this from personal experience. That you could keep functioning through it and come back for more says it all. You are my hero.

Oh you guys are so brave. My claustrophobia's so bad I doubt I would've even gone down in the hole. Loretta, you are incredible! Also, I've read some of the comments that accuse Eldad of being bossy or controlling. First, he created Hope for Paws, so really, he is the CEO of this organization. Second, since Loretta's claustrophobic, he was probably talking to her so that she wouldn't panic. Panicking wouldn't have helped this situation at all. To me, his voice was firm; he wasn't yelling at her.

Poor Loreta. That must've been horrible to her. Doing something like that anyways is amazing. She endured and fought her Fears for the sake of some Ducklings. She's a real Hero.

Fireworks is the culprit ....i hope they banned fireworks for good...it scare the animals for no reason..and this got to stop!!! I admire Loretta courage..shes truly amazing 🥰🥰🥰

Fireworks in LA are illegal, but there are not enough enforcement officers to stop everyone from shooting them off. Because many legal shows were cancelled this year, it was really bad.
@thecw3014 жыл бұрын
It's important to keep your animals inside during a fireworks show. Unfortunately, these ducks are wild. Glad someone cared.

A good compromise would be to have the beautiful visual display without the noise. I understand that Italy took that route a few years ago. And ban all the devices that are purely noise makers and sound like wanna be shots.
@sharonrudy4704 жыл бұрын
I love what the 4th of July stands for. I truly do. But what these horrific noise do to our animals is heartbreaking. My 160# mastiff has to be doped up (per vet) on these days. I can’t stand it and I wish that some company, as was stated in the comments, would come up with noiseless, beautiful, colorful fireworks. That would be amazing. No noise, just beauty!

Anxiety is so scary especially when you're in a situation like that where you have to choice but to keep going until you reach the next exit. She is so amazing and I love her so much. I feel bad that she had to do that but huge thank yous to her for doing something so scary

If you left fear control you, you won't take one more step. If you overcome your fear, nothing will stop you, not even the almighty himself.

@@Kazeshini11 You went too far there with your "not even the almighty himself" comment. Perhaps you haven't thought about what "almighty" means? God won't stop someone rescuing animals but He can do anything, if it is right.

@@HisPowr4U I'll be honest with you, usually people who come at me with their religious beliefs I will usually mock the hell out of but seeing this is hope for paws and not my original thread I won't. I don't believe in God and you seem to believe, let's agree to disagree. You have a good day.
