Hope you are get remedies, east or west, doesn't matter, just get better! We all do that as moms. Not good but we all do. About the noises with kids... I'm getting worse at tolerating noises. I almost wanted complete silence at times. But, I only have two... can't compete with the nine you have. About a couple of weeks ago I became rather "depressed",, feeling like I was butting heads with everyone around me. Then, I took a day off, away from everyone, I came back completely refreshed. That's all it took. God be on your side, Megan! Have a speedy and well recovery!

Oh dear... I hope you are feeling better! From my experience at least, once you get meds for the kidney infection, it clears up pretty quickly. Aaaahh... Multnomah Falls! it is so beautiful there, and only about 40 minutes from me. When I was growing up you could wade down the creek and swim in the pool under the falls. They closed it off a number of years ago when that big boulder fell.

What a day. We do long travel days too because we travel to different jobs. Most drives are 9-20 hours for us. I've drivin 20 straight hours before and felt like a fool (not pulling the RV that trip). Road food is the worst. You explained it all even if you weren't getting sick. I hope your feeling better now. I second that being sick in the RV sucks. The whole vlog I was hoping you took the bath. Don't ever pass one of those up even if it means extra work. 😊 I was relieved to hear YOU GOT THE BATH. 😍 Get well soon. Great husbands rock.

Awwww bummer! Hope you get well soon. Isn't it like us moms to be diligent about everyone else's care and ignore our own needs. I think it's funny when I say something like; "Man my stomach hurts!" and one of the kids will tell me which oil to grab. lol

Oh Wow, doesn't it just work out perfectly - the day you have your once in a while extra long driving day is the day you get sick! :( So so very sorry and so glad you were able to get to your destination safely at last. I hope you are feeling much better! I can totally relate to when you were talking about being non-planners. I was like this until I started homeschooling my kids. My family was not really a planning family and we would always just decide to go on a trip somewhere just the day before and just go. I loved it and when I had to plan something I would feel the same as you - I don't know what I will be doing in so many weeks or even one week - life is out of our control in many ways. However, I have been working on being a planner, although it is not working out so well for me - perhaps because by nature I am spontaneous and even trying to have a schedule - it just laughs in my face most of the time. Sigh. Just this week I felt like calling a friend an hour in advance to meet for some tea but then I think - whom can I call on such short notice? Pretty much nobody. So I stayed home.

I love these falls. Summer or winter. No mic really needed to enjoy the beautify of falls. In fact real calm without the freeway sounds. Driving up the Columbia River gorge. You should have stopped in Hood River for a pit stop. So easy to get dehydrated as you headed into a high plain area. You would have had a better trip.
