This was an insightful and amazing podcast. I cried when Ash and Ali spoke about Sloane's adoption not being finalized until May 2022 due to the biological father. It's incomprehensible to think of Sloane not being with them. They also provided information on how Ocean's adoption came about and how they tried to work through avoiding some of the same fears they encountered during Sloane's adoption. Brilliant interview Allie.

Why do these agreements not involve the father from the beginning. He also should get a chance to raise his biological child before any adoption is done.
